here is news about the book. i think he made the right decisionNEWS ABOUT MY BOOK
After a lot of thinking, feeling and getting some distance to my book, I have come to a conclusion that much of the book was written in anger and doesn't represent accurately how things are/were. I cannot release something like that.
Specifically the parts of the book concerning some of the Stratovarius members were
written in much anger and even vengeance. I do not want to generate negativity and hatred, after all this time I am thankful to the guys for some of the best years and moments in my life. And I believe Stratovarius deserves a really well written book, when the time is right.
I set out to write my own book with the help of a Finnish publisher LIKE, the same that published Nightwish book. Somewhere along the way, I got lost.
If my book will ever see the light of the day, it will concentrate more on my personal life and my childhood and of course, music. In these things I believe that my experiences can actually be helpful to some people. It has not been an easy ride.
Thank you for understanding and sorry for you who have been expecting the book. It will take more time now that I am reviewing what to actually put in there.
he had some difficult moments. Everybody has. May be he is an introvert (introspective or whatever - my bad English). I myself is a introvert and I know it. When I am thinking too much on one thing, I can be contradict to my previous view. I also experience some hopeless, desperate, lonely moments, and I can tell that those moment are not very nice. I am not speaking for Timo but I think I might understand something he faced, so people, please have some respect to him. His music has so much feeling on it and I love it.Rebel wrote: The id isn't Timo ToLkki, its Timo ToIkki

And, fatty earned all this by lying to his fans. Repeatedly.
Having "Difficult moments" is one thing. But he, as a public figure and a musician, has a responsibility to the fans that make everything about his life possible, and by lying to them, repeatedly, by defaming his bandmates, and everything else he's done in these times, he has lost my respect, and has earned everything the fans are throwing at him.gnurt_gp wrote:he had some difficult moments. Gee, ya think? Regardless of what he said in the beginning, that was pretty much obvious just about from the start. Glad he came to his senses - for now. I hope it sticks. His history of flip flopping from magnanimous to vindictive is lengthy.NEWS ABOUT MY BOOK

I myself have been in a similar situation in which I parted from a band I dedicated my life and money to...at first, you really hate the others, but after a while you realize that it only costs energy. I made up with the one person I hated the most in particular and now we are friends again. He even volunteered to do guitarduty during our rehearsals for the Timo Tolkkigig in which we are the support band (rehearsing without guitars is boring....) and we are playing in some other projects as well. Life feels so much better now, so good call from Timo in this case too I would say!gnurt_gp wrote:he had some difficult moments. Everybody has. Well...photoshopping pictures of Rosie O'Donnell is really a sign of having way too much free time, whick could be a sign of that you indeed are a loser.miditek wrote:Easy now, little fan-boy. No- not at all. Rosie needs to shave more often- otherwise Donald Trump may follow through on his threat and steal her girlfriend! Tolkki needs to actually grow a beard, and a Fu Manchu mustache!ggonza43 wrote:Why you say that? Does Tolkki need a deeper shave?
I can't take credit for something I didn't actually create- that would be plagiarism. The O'Donnell photo is a semi well-known gag that has shown up on more than a few Facebook pages.DreamT wrote:Well...photoshopping pictures of Rosie O'Donnell is really a sign of having way too much free time, whick could be a sign of that you indeed are a loser.

Ok, so I missed the fact that you didn't create the picture. Sorry about that. But that wasn't my main point. Even if you're not directly bashing the band, you're doing it indirect, since this forum is a information channel for both new and old Strato-fans.miditek wrote:No- not at all. I think Strato are a great band, and actually buy their albums, and also think the new relase is their best work in years. The last time I checked, Tolkki was not only no longer with them, but pulled a Captain Ahab and did his damndest to destroy it while he was at the helm.
