Captain Lou Albano dies

Post by Ragehead91 » Wed Oct 14, 2009 8:22 pm

Captain Lou Albano, the legendary and colorful pro wrestling coach who made memorable cameos in several Cyndi Lauper videos, died Wednesday at his home in Mount Vernon, NY, according to several wrestling sites, including PWInsider.com and PWTorch.com. He was 76.

On Monday, his family told the Miami Herald that Albano had been placed under hospice care for an undisclosed condition. They made it clear it was not cancer, though Albano suffered a heart attack in May 2005.

I dunno If you remember him. He also was Mario in the Super Mario Brothers Super Show. I know him through Tapes and DVDs and always thought he was funny.

R.I.P. Captain Lou Albano

Cap'n Lou was cool for kids to watch on Saturday morning, and the time Cyndi got smacked (fake) in the ring was cool for fifteen minutes. I think that Trump may have even been involved in that episode, unless I'm mistaken,

But you dare to post a Cyndi Lauper video- in a metal forum?

Your punishment for this grave infraction will be to play keyboards and percussion in an old wave band that will be touring in Slovakia and Moldova around Christmastime.

Better brush up on your Madonna, Lauper, and Bananarama licks!
