Stratovarius confirmed for Wacken 2010!

Finnish melodic metallers STRATOVARIUS have been confirmed for next year's edition the Wacken Open Air festival, set to take place August 5-7, 2010 in Wacken, Germany.

The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

Remember how last year's tickets disapeared so quickly, if I remember well, the last year Wacken was sold out in November or December...I'd recomand people who wanna get to it this year to be quick, I myself plan to do it for the first time as soon as I have some money for this!

Absolutely. I have a friend of mine who really dislikes them but said 'man can they put on a show'. Really great live band (and write some good tunes too )

Counting Wacken Rocks, 8. If you count Wacken Rocks, then they pass Gamma Ray as the most featured Power Metal band, I believe.

I had free pass the past 5 years... next year I won't have VIP I think but it's quite easy to get cheap tickets, like from 30 to 50 euros, so it's np. I just won't buy StratoRarities this time around. So as long as I don't have to work in August, I will be rocking at Wacken in 2010 again.

Because of the huge demand for W:O:A tickets an error occured at the metaltix system tonight. For that reason there weren´t any tickets available for a certain time. The error has been fixed and tickets are available again at www.metaltix.com

Furthermore there are good news about W:O:A´s lineup. Today another topact will be announced. So stay tuned.
