Re: Timo Tolkki: new book 'Loneliness of a Thousand Years'

I complain because I had to pay 6 euros more for the same book at the same time that some people are buying for 6 less. Imagine that you pay 16 euros for a concert and the people behind you in the queue start to pay 10 to get in. Wouldn't you feel cheated? Come on.

So cancel your order :)

Re: Timo Tolkki: new book 'Loneliness of a Thousand Years'

Sure, but shouldn't he refund 6 euros to the people who preordered it for 16? I haven't been noticed of anything... that's a pretty ugly move, if you ask me. We who preordered and pre paid should even have at least the same price now.

What would you say if the new price would be 26 instead of ...

Re: Timo Tolkki: new book 'Loneliness of a Thousand Years'

I don't know how the mail service works in Europe but in USA it's pretty normal for a book to take at least 2 weeks to arrive after it has been ordered. That's why it's called "snail mail". :) USA has shitty mail service, and the rates keep going up regardless.

Illumination is a great name for an album. Is this really the official title?

It is called Illumination according to their Argentine record company. Now it seems they will release a single before their tour and the album comes in mid January.
And I heard also that they will come to Argentina with ...

I don't know which artists you are talking about but the South American music I listen to here in Spain have not modified their Spanish at all, and of course they don't have to, it's something I don't criticise, so I don't really know which artists you are talking about.

Anyone think this book is a cash-in? I don't know what to think. 105 pages isn't exactly a lot - I'm getting a picture this book will include some of the things that were going to be in Hymn to Life - Entr'acte, polished much from the original, bitter writings. He pulled this up so quickly ...

Re: NEW TOLKKI INTERVIEW

It was a good interview, but one thing stuck out:

I always said that if Kotipelto, Jens or Joerg leaves the band, it cannot be called Stratovarius anymore. So therefore I think that decision was morally wrong.

So if Jari leaves the band, its totally ok to continue. But god forbid Jorg quits ...
