OK, I'll try. But this list changes. Years ago I used to hear bands like Zeppelin, Purple, Sabbath, or ELP, King Crimson, and many more from 60's, 70's and 80's. But metal seems like it is what I've been looking for. There are so many bands that I've never heard, and discovering them is so excited.

King Crimson rocks!! I saw them live a few years back, it's quite inspiring!! Robert Fripp is an absolute deity, no less. He has a side project, by the way, called The League of Crafty Guitarists.

Ayreon is a project of A.A. Lucassen, this includes 6 albums at this point. Besides that he had a project called Ambeon (with a female singer) and Star One. This is a metal album with different singers and each song is made from a SF-movie. Check: www.ayreon.com for more info, it will be worth it.

Mmmmm, I started worrying because my fave 5 bands haven't changed for the last 8 years... am I getting older and stuck in the past? Or is just the no other further band could made me feel those wonderful feelings I do when listening to those five?

Ok, I edited, just because a "newer" album (ok, 2) made me feel that way, but Avantasia doesn't count as a band, does it?
