For me, Manticora is one of best and most under-rated band around!!
And it's sooo unfair!!!
They play great and original power metal with some thash infuences also!
Great vocals and guitar work!!
They have 4 albuns and 1 EP!

The name is uncommercial but they sound ok...

I can assure you I'm not from the band!
They are from Denmark and I am from Portugal!
But the problem is that, as a fan I refuse to let this band die!
I've read an interview of their vocalist where he says that, if this last album 8 Deadly Sins fails, the band will be over!
So I wen to all the foruns and put this link!
It's the least I can do for them, because I think they deserve to be well known!
All their albuns are realy great. It's no just me talking bullshit!
Do you understand me?
This band needs suport.
They need more fans!
Let's all suport them!!

I'm serious. This album was in my CD player for couple of months until I knew it all by heart. It's a concept album based on Dan Simmons' sci-fi novel "Hyperion" whuich is also highly recommended ...
In short, get it as fast as you can.

Yeah, Hyperion need a lot of listen to fully grow on you, but then he becomes just perfect!
Indeed, it's not something that can be fully appreciated on first listen, it's a very complicated album ...
