IWTMOS Limited Special Edition Shaped CD

Post by Beast_Pete » Tue Dec 07, 2004 12:45 am

Hello to everyone again!

I bought this Special Single today, and it fakin' rocks. It's pretty, and the inhalt (ooh, it was german, damn it :D ... content, yes it is :) ) rocks too (by word :) ). The live version of Forever is the best I've ever heard, as a live recorded song. The crowd is excelent and enthusiastic. What's your opinion guys and gals?

P.S: sorry for the big picture, but check it out:

I have Eagleheart's Shaped and it's beautiful too. IWTMOS has indeed two awesome live-tracks. Black Diamond is great too.

Right, both live version are great. I remember 'Forever' live in Czech Republic, but there, I think I was the only one who sang it, TK did the best to encourage the crowd to sing, but there was almost a silence there, so with my singing I felt very special:), and I had not good opinion about the rest of the fans.... but live version from the single you're writting about is simply imcompareable when it's about the crowd.

But since I changed my cd player into slot-in one I cannot listen this, because I'm afraid to put there such not typical cd's. I must do something with this...

In Hungary, about 1000-1200 fans were singing Forever, and I bet, that we were the loudest ones in whole Europe. ;) And just to compare Stratovarius with other bands, Forever is the best sang song by crowd ever.

You can download them since you own the original CD there's no pbm.

You mean download it from the internet or copy from cd?
In fitst case it would be difficult to find (at least for me), but in second case I don't know if this won't be harmful for my cd-rom. What if cd in cd-rom drive spins faster than in normal cd audio player? Does disproportionate mass distribution (lack of symmetry) of this unusual-shape cd won't be damaging to cd-rom drive bearings, or cd itslef?
I'm a layman in this issue, so I need an advice.

Download it form inet. I did it first, then I bought it, so I have it on my comp legal now. :) BTW, do not put it in your CD-ROM Drive, 'cos you will suck it...

IYeah, because of lack of symmetry, it will cause much vibrations indeed but (at least in my case) it wasn't harmful for my CD-ROM drive, nor for the CD.

Thanx a lot, so my suspicions were right.

I like such unusual and unique editions, but from the other hand, there are troubles with playing it...

the thing that pissed me off about the IWTMOS single was that the I wish the live tracks had been of something less predictable. I mean... I dunno, Forever and Black Diamond aren't too surprising. What if they had put Galaxies on there?
