WOAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!! I KNOW YOUR KIND!!!!!!!!!!!!
The toy store i work at is right across from a video game store.
While i was working my ass off stocking shelves late into the night, about 100 of you dweebs were at the mall standing outside AT MIDNIGHT waiting in line to buy this game from Electronics Boutique, who was ACTUALLY OPENING IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. i couldn't believe it.
Oh yeah, did i mention it was raining? what a bunch of clowns.
So we grabbed a few of our copies and dangled them in the big glass windows and danced around like drunken monkeys while we pointed at laughed and called you guys losers.
Actually, this kind of supreme-dork phenomenon happens all the time, it seems. It just happened with that new GTA game, and i remember it happening at the adjacent music store as well with madonna tickets. *barf*

It's an X-Box game where you go around and kill aliens (kind of like Doom or Wolfenstiein 3-D). The first one took place on an alien craft, which is a big ring-like planet called Halo. The second one happens on earth, with better stuff.

Technically, I was asleep when the game came out (I can't get it here in this void of space called a farm town). So, my bro is going to get it this afternoon. HA HA...I like how you "grabbed a few of our copies and dangled them in the big glass windows...and called you guys losers". That's as funny as eating ice cream in from of a couple of obese people at a fitness center!!!

Yes, but I don't like it [Halo I].
Its noobish! You can just point and hold. No recoil, no anything. And, the campaigns [for the first one] were horrible and repetative. The only thing fun about it was the multiplayer system link or split screen, and even that god old after a while.

Recoil? It takes place in the year 2055 (or sometime in the future), and they probably took care of recoil from weapons. And how is the campaign "repetative"?

What? 2055? Thats insane. This kind of technology would be implemented in, in my opinion, sometime from 2900-3900 A.D. if ever.
Sure that there should be 'no recoil.' But come on, it removes all strategy from the game!
And repetative? You have not played the campaign.

IT AINT THAT REPETATIVE! It is a pain in the ass, but there is one advantage...ROCKETS, and at least you get sentinels on your side.
I don't get why recoil fucking matters in Halo. CTF is all about strategy. As my cousin puts it: "sometimes luck if everyone sucks."

Halo 2 wasn't a HUGE improvement on the idea of Halo... The only big difference I can see is that the story for Halo 2 is not as stupid and is in fact kind of neat. The game mode itself isn't really the highlight of Halo though... They should have focused more on the multiplayer PVP in my opinion. It really isn't very different than the first game in that area.
At least the old Turok series knew how to reinvent multiplayer PVP for every game.

First of all... Halo 2 is an X-Box game, not a PlayStation 2 game. >_<
Next of all, it's not much better at all than the original Halo. The one big thing it has going for it, besides being one of the most hyped games in recent memory (And for no reason that I can think of), is X-Box Live compatibility. Because quite frankly, the game sucks unless you're playing it online.
If you really want one of the best FPS games ever, pick up a computer game called Half-Life 2.

I agree... Half-Life 2 is probably the most realistic and best FPS to come out in the recent years. Assuming your computer can handle its full potential of course...

most new games suck anyway, imo... i havent bought a new game in years.. the last very good one was Deus Ex, imo... on the other hand, i´m not really into games anymore. I´ll install my classics from time to time and be happy with those :>

Yeah, my comments about Halo 2 were really bad, but thatwas when I was playing the first part of the Campaign. I now realized that multiplayer sucks only because there are two decent maps: Blood Gulch and Ascension. There are a few good maps, but those are the best (IVORY TOWER NEEDS TO DIE

).
Plus, I also realize that the ending to Halo 2 leaves you more open than defenders playing against Nebraska. It's not that bad of an ending, telling you that a third Halo is coming out (and hopefully it'll be better).
Also, Half Life 2 is good...just NOT WITH STEAM!!!

HL2 ? No way. This is not a game, this is a graphic engine. If you wan a game on it, you'll have to buy the add-on that will be out in some months.

havent played halo 2 yet. I had a reseved copy in a store but its being saved to be a christmas present
I dont have Half-life 2 but I've got Medal of Honour: Pacific Assault which if your looking for a realistic shooter is great. its play levels range from easy wher you dont reall get hurt to realistic where you die as soon as you hit land. I also needs are real good computer though.
I liked Halo 1 but I agree it did get repetitive. It is a lot of fun until you get to the part with the flood. Then i quit playing and find something else to do.

HalfLife overrated? You must be kidding!! This was the best fpp ever created (well before I played FarCry I mean

).
I just can't wait 'till I lay my hands on HF2, no time now unfortunately.
As for Halo, I haven't played, is it really that good?
It was a match made in Hell, now the whole mountain burns...
