sry for my bad english

I think he meant that Strato was the band he appreciated very much at the time he was putting up the idea of Nightwish. That is easily understood, when you think that he was a young guy from Finland and Strato was already known worldwide. But he took his own way and created a totally new style or subgenre of metal, pulling together influences of several music styles from in- and outside of metal.
He was lucky to have Tarja with her increadible voice for vocals, which became their trademark, but making keys the leading instrument instead of guitar was the bravest shot in the era of guitar heroes.
Now we have bands following that idea, but not too many. Even today, after several years, I cannot see that there are too many or maybe any similar bands to Nightwish. They are very original, always moving on and changing, and thus capable of making the best out of Holopainen's creativity.
And no matter what, Stratovarius are still great, and these two bands have created their own musical paths, not trying to copy others. That is called talent, or should I use the word 'genius'.
