This is not excluded. It says it's the first gig confirmed as far, but it doesn't mean that it will be the firs one, considering the fact that it will be in september.

That's also possible, it would be quite unusuall, going so far just for one gig.

Of course they use tapes. How do you want to plays some songs from E1 with great orchestration with just guitars and keys ?

Vocal tapes

Post by zenguitar » Sun Feb 13, 2005 8:42 pm

I wouldn't have a problem with vocal tapes that carried the harmonies but not the main vocal melody, how else can it be done? Some of the songs would be missing something if not for the vocal harmonies.

If there was lip synching with the main melody, that would be crap..but we all know that the Timo K wouldn't BS us like that.

And I think when you're a REAL singer, lip-synching for more than one hour must de damn boring.

Image Mabe it's to much hassle to bring all those background-singers on tour?

Timo Kotipelto does not need his voice coming from tape. He delivers each night 110%. He has grown to be a really super frontman. You guys will be surprised this fall.
About using backing tapes, I am really sorry if that offends some one.
Please kick our asses, we deserve that! It´s our fault. Very sorry, very sorry.

So far, only the ProgPower gig is confirmed, so all you can do is hoping they come near you :D

Thnx, but I'm not new here  I was here until about a year ago, named Black Phoenix, but then I forgot about this place. Now I wanted to join again, but I forgotten my password and I don't use my mailadress from then anymore so I had to make a new account
