Well its not like any church would hang a sign outside the door that says "We do bad things!! We use your offering money for prostitues, liquor and child porn!"

There's just no way you can tell!!!
So then you try out different churches. You might not always find the one you want straight away. Come to my church if you want :D

Why try different ones if all are spreading the same lies? Religions are plagues, and in my opinion none of them are needed to develope an adequate, sufficient, moral behaviour...

My mother´s family is very catholic and she carries my whole family at least every month to church...
I hold it like my daddy I believe in god, but dont care about church.
But as we don´t want to hurt my mother we go to church with her.
It doesn´t hurt me, does it?

If you're truly beliving in God shouldn't you WANT to go to church?

What has god in common with churches? If i was god (we´ll see ;) ) i wouldnt care for people visiting certain churches, but for the achievement of an adequate pacific world view... which must be the reason why i dont believe in god, as he obviously did quite a lousy job, if existant...

Because church is just a institution and there are for example even priests that try to burn Harry Potter books because they are made by satan

Well, about these posts, I am always reminded of Forever Free. I studied in an Ökumenikus elementary school, and those 8 years were enough for me to realise things about the church(es), and about the people, who are sofuckinggreattandgoodandthebestbelieversinthewholewideworld.
Now I hate it, if someone wants to control my thoughts, and tell me, what to think.

For example: "if some of Tolkki's musics are similar, then it means, that he is a boring songwriter, and therefore, his music is boring as well."

Well, then I must be a really bored man, because I'm listening to Stratovarius nearly 24/7. :D (okay, sometimes I listen to other power metal bands as well... )

Lol i know what you mean but i'll say again not all churches are the same! A lot have different views on things..our church wouldn't go round burning books or anythingl ike that.

Arabic, to be precise... it always helps to learn and understand about other religions, their beliefs and their origins.

Especially during these times of Islamic extremists, it's very important to realise that ordinary muslims don't agree with what they're doing at all... sort of like what the KKK and the Nazis did with Christianity to an extent.

I think if I didn't choose to do music at uni, i would've done history with theology, I'm really interested with those subjects

It's a really funny topic in the jens forum. It goes something like this:

I like cheese

Next person writes:

I like cheese, Jens

Next person

I like cheese, Jens, and bicycles

See?

You should start this topic!!!

heh!
