If I could travel through time

Post by neonlightchild » Wed Apr 20, 2005 9:46 pm

1.- I'd go back in time, when I was a child, and tell my granda that i love her so much.
2.- I'd go back in time when i was 15, and live again these awesome 15 years!!!
3.- I'd go to the future and i'd surely buy the latest Sonata's album hehe.

Actually, there are many episodes in my life, that i'd be so pleased to live again...specially when i was a child or teenager, there were no major problems than doing my homework and that was pretty much all :(

And yes....i'm depressed...

Tell me how can I stand the pain
Is there hope for me at all?
Hear me cry in the cold rain
I never wanted to become a neon light child

it happens to us all...
So where does the power come from to see the race to its end?
From within.

Well, in my life, there has always been some things to live for, and some things, that made my life not to be perfect. When I was a child, I always wanted to be an adult. I was always looking forward, and I didn't want to go back in time, becuase it's useless... both thinking of the idea and to go back in time.
When I was a teenager, I didn't have that big fights with my parents, that most 14-18 years old have, but of course, I wanted to get free. And somehow I needed a girlfriend (quite strange I am?! :P ), but I just couldn't find the perfect/ideal.
Now I am studying at a University, and I don't like it too much... I just want to have my papers, that's all. I know, that I will learn the important parts later. But I have a girlfriend, the ideal, the perfect girl, the girl, who fits me the best. Why would I want to change or rechange? And when we get older, I will still not want to get younger... wishing to go back in time doesn't help. Just look straight forward, that helps a lot.
(I don't say, that you should forget the past... there are so many beautiful memories to remember and to learn from)

Then it's understandable. But you should try to make yourself busy, then you will get out of depression. I'm not a doctor, nor an experienced depressive man, but I hope, that my suggestion helps.

If i could travel back in time, i would destroy the source of life ;)

To be honest: If i had a choice i would have never been born, there is nothing i can cheerish enough, in a fulfilling way, to see a value in all this. Now im here and i try to make the best out of it, but i there isnt much that is joyful.

Well, I've been feeling anxious and sad for the last seven years, since I came to Canada. I have only one really good friend, but he lives in another city. I have no friends where I live... thank you multiculturalism! Now that I have one month of vacations, I have nowhere to go, so even though I feel like going to Chinatown and eating Chinese food, for example, I have no one to go with. And just to give you another example, I went to Sonata's concert alone (this was the first time that I went to a concert alone). And I'm not trying to sound like I'm a victim because I'm not, I'm just saying how things are for me. But I don't agree with Twilightsymphony. I'm not happy right now, and I've felt like shit for seven years, but I'm thinking of going somewhere else after I finish my BA and I want to continue my studies. I want to start from scratch, and I know that I WILL be happy. Last year I returned to Argentina for the first time in six years and I felt very happy, so I haven't lost the capacity to feel happiness :) It's not always easy to find your way, but it's not imposible either. I do think people can reach happiness.

1) If I could go back in time, I would enjoy some moments more than I did back there.
2) If I could go back in time, I wouldn't care that much 'bout school.
3)If I could go back in time, I would play soccer until death.
4) If I could go back in time, I would buy Stratos-CDs more early in this life.
5) If I could go back in time, I would never listen to my sis's music, 'cuz it was Backstreet boys, and I used to like it.
6) If I could go back in time, I would listen to my mothers's advices.

If I could go back in time, I would do the same I did first time...
:D
I did my choices and I think I did the best I could, although nobody is perfect...

And I'd kiss my daddy goodbye that day he went to work and never came back... :kiss1:

Well, I would never go back in time.
Neonlightchild, you say you want to go back when age 15, when you had "no real worries." But I think that if you remember close enough, you'll realize that you did have a lot of worries.

You can never really be content. Some people have nothing in their lives that should trouble them but are more miserable than those who have the whole world on their shoulders.

I think its important never to look back. Keep looking forward.

Oh yeah, looking forward is the main point in life, but, sometimes these strange feeling comes to me, and make me feel so sad...
That's why i try to do my best day by day, so in the future ther could be less chances to feel i'm in doubt with my past.

If I could, I would travel through time, and then destroy the machine so I can live everything once again.

Id travel back in time and meet Jesus. Yup. Just to see what it was actually like before the Church came along and twisted and warped all his teachings into propaganda.

Also would go back to meet Jimi Hendrix... and see Savatage live with Criss Oliva.
