It's damn nice, the first time they will come in North America!!
They'll be here in NY 10 days before, I am trying to go, but there are a lot of things in the way, but I won't give up the fight!

I will buy Silence next time I'm in Times Square, since it is the only album there. . .shame on this city! and on Virgin Megastore!
Try to see them man, they won't come back in America for maybe a while after..

What a shame man! Even here I can find their CDs in stores!!! And I am in a remote town of Canada haha.. xD
I'll do my best.

Oh, well, yeah, that was all I could find, I will go to some other stores, but I doubt I'll find something more. . . .

U live in Quebec, that is not a town. that's a city isn't it?

@Equinox: Well, Quebec is first a city, about 2 hours ago by car from where I actually live. Quebec is also our province. I live in a town called Chicoutimi.. hehe! That's it! Quebec is my province ^^

btw... see the flag below can you notice some familiar sign? ^^

Please listen to Reckoning Night. They have changed a lot from original strato style.

And I think what they did which was supposedly a strato "copy" ended up being much better than strato's stuff, actually.

I'm still mad about them considering themselves POP METAL :x

I agree in all you said, but about themselves considering it's style as pop metal...so what? i mean, it doesn't matter the genre as long as you like it and as long as they play these excellent music, am i wrong? :)

And yes, IMHO Sonata Arctica is a million light years away from Stratovarius, they may sound familiar, but that's because the play power metal, but they have it's own style...nevertheless nowadays i prefer listening Sonata's stuff than Strato's.

That´s exactly what I think...
There´s no band without influence from others, everybody has to start somewhere..

of course the deal is this...there's a lot of people thinking every band has to start with something original of themselves....but they don't think that a little time ago when maiden starts (by example) a lot of people , maybe, tell to them the same things that now everyone tells to new bands.....well this is not happening to every band....there are many differences but mm.... like I said before...sonata starts doing some stratovarius chords and they are agree with that so....what is the f****** problem?...now they sound like themselves and that is something have to appreciate

i think of SA as the next strato, they are still rather "immature" (to put a word to it) i see that in their lyrics, but they are still relatively new, i like them a lot, especially the guitar solos. they OBVIOUSLY have a strato influence, seeing as they are good friends, jens did one album and they have been on tour a lot, not to mention the amount of covers they have done
