Well, this afternoon I was thinking about the next tour, about the new album...

Which song would you like to open these shows? I think "against the wind" would be perfect... Perfect music, perfect lyrics and good vibrations to start a magic night

Phoenix is THE perfect opening song for this tour. Maybe Legions too, or Liberty but it's not much of an opening song.

At last gig I saw, they opening with "I walk to my own song" . It was avesome! Maybe, the right reason is, that it was last Strato gig ever...and first, I ever see...It was the best and the worst experience in my life...the best, becouse I saw them and they wre fucking great! And the worst, becouse i known, that I´ll never see them again
But I think, that I walk to my own song is best opening song ever!!!

If we are looking for a symbolic opener I'd say Against the wind or Phoenix. Lyrical theme for both songs is to against all odds proceed.
OR Legions, as a symbolic dedication to the fans who have stuck with stratovarius through all the turmoil

Phoenix shows that Stratovarius has risen again, great too.

Forever Free is a good fun song to get started with, nice and fast but not too crazy.

Then again, I can't say what the new songs are like, since I havnt heard them yet. Maybe the best intro/ending songs are on there. Maybe the best Stratovarius song ever written is on there. How can we know?

Musically, the Episode/Speed of Light combo is the best opener possible but, seeing the reunion circumstances, Phoenix would also be great...Legions would be even better..."Tonight we're together again!"

It would be cool if they didn't do the same thing at every show. For example, since they've never came to the U.S. yet, maybe their shows could be a little bit different from the Japanese and European tour dates to convey a different message to us. (?)

There are many good opening songs like pheonix but i think it would be cool for them to do a show that progresses from there old stuff to there new stuff. It would be cool to hear Black Night live for the first time in ever!
