I wonder how.
Anyway, I don't care. I'm waiting till september and buying it... I want the cd, the actual, physical object with the booklet and stuff.

Again it's possible that Sanctuary wanted this to happen, to gain this extra publicity right now and then they'll release it in July as originally planned

You have a point. I think it's really strange that the album is ready since many months but they decided to release it so "late".
And another weird thing, is that the tour will happen at the exact same time than the release. Normal tour usually happen few months after the album is released. Plus the fact that they bet so HUGE money on the band and signed for a 5 millions € deal.

Yup. The album is really nice.
First I was struck by the fact that this is not really that "power" anymore, not like Strato at all. Not like the old ones, or Elements records. Something new. Something... Mainstream.
I dont know if this mainstreamish is by purpose to increase sales. I guess not, new sound is good to have anyway. I secretly wanted Infinite Pt. 2, but nothing wrong with this either.
I just hoped that there was one song that clearly came out from the dark heavy sounds with fast double bass and guitar solos and high piched singing.
Still, this album sounds good. If this has to be compared with some other Strato -album, probably Fright Night or Twilight Time but in a different way. So I guess it can't.

How do you know??? Release day is in Sept. :poke:
I think it might be cool because i have heard those 1min reviews. Those are very nice indeed.
So i hope you are refering your opinnion also to those 1 min clips!
This is for all i think. We just dont't want to hear how cool the whole album is until autumn because it is just not right

It is power, but not like most euro-power metal (although i've only head maniac dance, so I don't know what the rest is like).

There's a miss of power in this album...But all the instruments parts are so great and the voice is so full of emotions, i think it's new and it's ok like this ! Very good album
And I have the full album....no 1 minute clips and i'll buy it !

I think there are many others like me and skar, who wrote that great sentence about telling what kinda album the new is before the official releasing. :pissed5:

I was able to listen to the new album and I am a little disappointed. I think the only really good songs are "Fight", "The land of ice and snow" (nice Ballad like "Forever") and "Gypsy in me". Hope one of those will be the next single. The rest is not really bad, but kind of boring. The most songs are too slow for me. I expected more of those fantastic keyboard/guitar-Solos and faster songs.
Well, I am looking forward to your reviews. Don't get me wrong: It is a very good album. And I will buy it.

This new Strato seems like in the vein of Kotipelto's album Coldness, but even drier and even less elements than what Koti had. I really liked Coldness it's got great atmosphere, riffs and interesting drums. The solos by Romeo and Janne are also jaw dropping. I can understand if you want to give your music a harder edge or a different sound, but that doesn't mean you have to reduce the quality of the music I.E. Kotipelto's Coldness.

Do you realize that if you keep talking about downloading new album this topic will be deleted very soon.
And you guys consider you as a fan of stratovarius :fuckoff:
I will say no more but OMFG you have some balls come to official forum to talk about how great new album is before we shouldn't have heard almost a single bit of it.

Calm down.
It doesn't matter. I could download the whole album if i want, but i dont want to. I'll wait till September.
I've heard the one-minute clips and liked them.
In this situation, people must decide what is best. I've chosen not to download. Other people have downloaded and will also buy the cd.

I like the way Koti sings on those Clips--not as high as the Elements CDs. I will buy this album, and the older way of singing and playing their music is refreshing, IMO.
I do not think it was a good idea to release clips so early, but whats done is done!

If you don't want spoilers... start a new thread, the title of this tread is "listened to the new album" so don't hope for people keeping quiet here
