Swedish/English translation
Post

heh, so like could any of you Swedish speakers translate this for me. It's from a Manegarm song called "Gillesvisan". Im guessing its a drinking song about something dirty due to the laughs at the end. Thanks if someone does translate
Mjödet i hornet
Fläsk på fat
Kväder o sånger
Tillefalles ära
Gillet som rullar
Tills morgonen åter gryr
Gäckar den vreda tuppen
Tills dagen den är ny
Öööj högre nu!

it's old swedish so it's hard to translate but it's about a viking "party" and no, there's no dirty stuff in it, they are saying stuff like:
"mead in the horn
meat on plates"
stuff like that, can't really bother myself to translate it

Life is wonderful!
sometimes...
