How about a Strato reunion for a show at Wacken 2005?

Hi ppl!
When chatting with the organizers of Wacken 2005 (actually not chatting but asking questions from them about the performers on IRC), they said that there will be some bands reuniting. They were talking about Immortal and Emperor, but let's hope that sy there has thought about bringing Stratovarius together!

Hello!

I will go to wacken next year but i have only few hopes to see them live.
If they don't reunite until the beginning of the festival I think they will
not reunite for wacken. But it would be great, because past few days a lot
of great bands have been confirmed like edguy, nightwish, overkill...

I was thinking about it as well. I was hoping and I'm still hoping, that they will reunite next year. And seeing them on Wacken... well, it would be fucking awesome. There will be many many good bands, but with Stratovarius, the WOA would be even more unforgetable.

Um....

Most bands do the reuniting thing significantly after they've disbanded.

A) Stratovarius has not disbanded.

B) Even if they had, what would be the purpose of a reunion gig immediately after having broken up? What the hell would be the point of breaking up??

That would be great, but according to the latest news from TT , and by analyzing the curren status quo, I'm afraid that Wacken in 2005 would be too early. But of course I have nothing against.

I think they also meant Accept, that was the first band confirmed on Wacken 2005.
Nevertheless, with or without Stratovarius, I'm going to go to Wacken next year. Nightwish and Edguy are confirmed, it realy sounds good

This is a "lets hope" topic, and is not about "let's tell Stratovarius what to do" (just to avoid further conflicts)

The only thing I absorbed here is that Immortal is playing... WTF? Are they just doing a show for Wacken? I want to seeeeeeee them again.

OMG... If it turns out Immortal and Emperor reunite and play on Wacken 2005, plus Stratovarius, this is gonna be the best Wacken ever!
I only wish I will at least be able to see it on video if it does happen... since I won't be able to attend it :/

Look what Koti answered on his guestbook to the Wacken question:
I do like Wacken a lot but I don´t think I will be there this year with my own band or Strato...

But it's still too early, maybe things could change later? (fingers crossed)

I hope so. This Wacken would be the best, if they were there as well. Just look at the other performers: Nightwish, Sonata Arctica, Edguy, Hammerfall (as I know, they come as well) etc. Hopefully Rhapsody comes as well.
