So i'm practicing guitar today, and i'm wondering where the hell all my guitar picks have dissipated to over time. I seriously am in need of guitar picks. Of course, i have the boring generic 'Guitar Superstore' picks already. In all two varieties, even. So i don't want to go buy more of those. Then this completely random thought crossed my mind.
"If i could get everyone on the StratoForum to mail me a guitar pick, i'd be set for life."
And since i have a P.O. Box, i don't mind posting my address here. So mail me some cool international guitar picks!
Ha ha, we'll see if this works. Maybe it will even start some kind of guitar pick trading revolution or something. Right.
My address is P.O. Box 33021, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410, USA.

Uh, ok, why not? All the karma from eveyone's picks should logically make you stupidly good, no?

I bet HMCW would faint if she received a big package from TT with an assortment of beautiful picks he used at various concerts!
I would!
Faint, I mean. Any fan would, I think.

Ahh get over it, he's just another guy

Re: Mail Me Some Guitar Picks.
True, he's just a human being. It's not like he's in Iron Maiden or anything
Um. Since I play bass without a pick, I could also try hacking off my fingers and mailing them to you but I don't think they'll really be very fresh by the time they arrive...

Re: Mail Me Some Guitar Picks.
I don't think that's quite what he meant. I think he was trying to get the point across that Timo is, after all, just another person, albeit a very talented and inspired person. A lot of this whole worship thing is kind of creepy to me to be honest...HvyMtlClickWitch wrote: Truly spoken like a person whose soul has never been inspired by anything.

Re: Mail Me Some Guitar Picks.
Boogie boogie boo!!
Just kidding.
I'm REALLY superstitious about my guitar and everything that has to do with it. I'm dead serious about that. That's why it would probably be a bit more significant to me than you may be comfortable with.

Re: Mail Me Some Guitar Picks.
I suppose I get what you mean. Hell, the main reason I got the bass I have is because Jari has a similar one!
Im a hypocrite. I'll shut up and go and worship at my Temple of Steve

Oh, yeah of coursefifthtea_sausage wrote:Ahh get over it, he's just another guy

And I suppose if Stratovarius comes to a city near you, you won't run out buy tickets and break your neck to try to get to the Venue hoping for a glance of them.

Save your hypocrisy for someone who wants to hear it.
Anyway, Lighten up! I was just kinda kidding, for God's sake!

And, you might as well face reality. Tolkki has been an inspiration for many people, not just his guitarplaying, but his philosophy about life. So, get over this pettiness.

I could send you one... But I think I'm too lazy for that. Too much trouble over a *tiny* piece of vinyl.HvyMtlClickWitch wrote:Oh god.
