." You didn't say Arab countries or governments, you said "Arabs". But hey, if that's the way you feel about the approximately 300 million Arabs in the world (how many would you say are "most"? More than 150 million? 200 million?), that's your prerogative. But perhaps it would be prudent of you not to call other people racists. Stones in glasshouses, that sort of thing.
Because when the arabs slaughtered my people and great grandparents, the people from that particular country were not outraged, but instead were pleased that half my country was systematically killed. And I hate the terrorism of the world which sprouts from Arab countries. Overall, I am disgusted by their behavior.
But I don't have anything against Arabs on an individual basis.
I mean seriously, how hard is it to understand that if one says that I hate Arabs, I don't hate ALL arabs. Even if I say I hate ALL arabs it still just a way of speaking...
But I have several good arab friends, from which I intend to prove that I am not a racist.
Or then you didn't actually mean that but made a poorly worded statement "in the heat of a political argument." Which is fine, most of us have probably made stupid remarks at one time or another. I'm not sure some half-arsed non-apology a few months later (invoking the "some of my best friends are Muslim!" defense no less, as if it had any relevance pertaining to your hatred of Arabs)

Everyone on these boards hates USA, that doesn't mean they automatically hate all Americans. Just like if I say I hate turks, I don't mean every single turk, or that I will judge individuals by that generic comment.
As for your hatred of homosexual flaunting...please. I seriously doubt you're attacked by hordes of gay men who want to have sex with you everytime you're outside. I also seriously doubt there's a gay pride parade right under your window every day of the year.

Obviously I could choose not to give in to my heterosexual urgings...much the same way I could choose to pick up that pencil with my right hand instead of my left hand.

And think about what the Finnish people had to suffer against the Sovjetunion. But they did not give up. And I mentioned only two examples. I bet, that you can find even more.
