Well everybody's right is to tell his/her own opinion. I personally hate the rasmus.

I think it's just poor pop... I mean rock. Sometimes this band calls their music as "metal" or something  I've read some texts, you know). No good feelings of them, just some anger...
Of course this is just my opinion.

They are trying to make black/love/gothic metal like HIM (known also as HER) on this album, but I like much more their first albums.

Heeeeyyy Lauri Ylönen (or whatever his name was) is trying to learn some guitar playing :D Few days ago I saw them on TV and he played guitar, of course he sucked, as always ;)

Is there really a need to tell that this is just my opinion..

I have only to problems:
1; the singer sucks live (and a metal band shall be good live)
2; they are lack of originality

I have something for finn bands, and I mostly loooooooooove them.

The Rasmus.... sorry but I like them, they aren't the best finnish band around of course, but I like them... specially their new song "no fear" it's pretty good and had a nice video.

in my life... and the funeral song are pretty good.

Well, POP does not mean, they can't be metal. Just look at Nightwish. They are now POP too, but they are still metal and they still rock. \m/

agree, though I also like some non-metal bands. but not the rasmus. they try to be some poppy, chart-compatible rockband. not my taste.

Their newest single "No Fear" has the most horrible refrain I´ve ever heard: "No, Fear, destination darkness..." :puke:
"I shall seize Fate by the throat; it shall certainly not bend and crush me completely"

They're not metal band, In MTV charts there's no metal band!! They are so commercial! IMO

Don1t you pps get it? MTV can't kill our metal. If a band is on the charts, it still can be metal. But it's true, that The Rasmus is not that metal, but still is. But if anyone here is going to tell me, that Nightwish is not metal, then...

I don't like most metal bands and songs. Except System and Stratovarius, and a few songs here and there of other bands.
