The band gets no cut of the sales, it all goes to some vulture that makes cash of the fame of a band they don't care about. I think it sucks... but ppl can buy whatever they like but know that generally :

Inside venue - Official licenced merch, quality assured, band gets a cut of the sales.

Ouside venue - unofficial, band gets no profit from the sale of their own artwork/logo etc., quality may or may not be so good.

The major problem is, official ones are awesome, pretty, amaaaaazeeeeng but $$$$$$$$$$$$ at least here, damn...in the Maiden gig a shirt was more expensive than the ticketshow.

Well...i'll carry on buying fake shirts unfornatelly, better invest in beer, gigs, chicken...

BTW...99% of the stratoFAKEshirts sucks really hard, i never saw one cool.

I saw them in turku but I didn´t like the material of the t-shirts. It looked somewhat different and not so nice. So I decided to buy only Strato Europe tour longsleeve and their woolly hat.
