These nominations are arbitrary! I was surprisingly nominated for moderator (thanks Hvyblah!

) and yet I don't show up on the list, while other people in the same category show up despite not having been mentioned! Only IceBreaker, BEG and myself have been nominated by other users for the mod category. The executive board should review the way it handles nominations since there are some irregularities.

I think Neorave is kind of (perhaps subconsciously) amalgamating it from last year's nominations as well....?

The funny thing is...there are no standards to the nominations, because the nominations aren't really finalized. When you vote next week, you can vote for ANYONE, even if they weren't nominated. This is just to get people an idea of who they would like to vote for if they are new to the board. And, btw, I also forgot to add you on the other categories. So I did.

...too many big words for me to figure that out. Also realize that the nominations aren't finalized because of the way we are voting (no more damn polls, unless Jens changed it so that I can put more than 15 items on there).

Just to clarify on the voting, it will be like the song poll voting. Basically, you can vote for one person/topic in each category (it can even be a person/topic that wasn't nominated) So, for example (and, btw, these are just random picks, I'm not actually voting):

Best Topic: Show me Your Picture
Worst Topic: Speedtest
Worst Troll: Jasmine666
Member of the Year: Jens
etc.

Then, the first post will have the official results. Each vote will be counted as a * right by the person/topic. Example (again, random picks):

Best at being a Moderator:
browneyedgirl - ***
Dawn_is_Here - ********
Beast_Pete - ******

Does that kind of make sense? Oh, and hopefully, I'll put them in order in the amount of votes they have.

Actually, it doesn't matter. Anyone can vote for anyone in any category (with one vote per category). Nominations are just used to give people a view of who to vote for.
