I'm still curious as hell to see what Mr. and Mrs. Beaver are going to look like in this new one. They were so quirky in the last one.

Last movie? In the cinema or at home???

If it's at the cinema, it was Men In Black in 1998. The last at home was Buffy, The Vampire Slayer, the movie with Kristy Swanson (really ridiculous  ).

Hmm, could we talk here also the movies that are coming soon?

Have anyone noticed that "Miami Vice" -movie is coming next year, summer 2006. As the title says, it's based on legendary 80's cop show Miami Vice.
Original serie's creator Michael Mann is still there (yeah) but unfortunately original serie's actors Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas are not presented as "Sonny" Crockett and Richardo Tubbs...

Image

The new faces are Colin Farrel as Crockett and Jamie Foxx as Tubbs:

Image

Farrel's clothes & style are quite similar than Johnsons, that's just good thing!

Image

I know that these news are not new but maybe someone other guys here likes Miami Vice like I like. It's my favourite tv-serie, real classic.
I don't believe that the movie is so good than classical serie, but I still wait it... Up the Vice!

That is cool, I had no idea they are coming out with a Miami Vice movie. That was my favorite show growing up. I too am scratching my head at all the re-makes, but I would definately go see Miami Vice. Colin Farrel and Jamie Foxx are perfect.

Anyhow. I don't know if this counts as a movie, but anyone who wants a good laugh should see this. Comedian George Carlin just came out with a new one called "Life is worth losing". He even goofs on all the recent natural disasters we have been having around the world. George Carlin is a comic genius. In one half hour he can offend Liberals, Conservatives, Religious people, Athiests, White People, Black People, Hispanic People, Asian People, Christians, Jews, Muslims and everything in between. This is why I love his comedy so much. Like me, he loves to make fun of any person or group that takes themselves a little too seriously. He is an equal-opportunity offender and if you want to see this check your cable or satellite, it is on HBO.

If we can't laugh at ourselves, who can we laugh at?!

I've seen "The Island" with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson. Interesting story, thrilling, though they could have developed the plot somehow more subtle. But: Excellent Action scenes.

And I've watched the first 15 minutes of "The Dukes of Hazzard". Then I stopped because I was so bored and the film was so bad that I almost fell asleep.

I have seen this movie too. I really liked it and the action scenes are very good and hot! But it disturbs me that the movie is in the future and they have used elements from today. Example: The train is very modern and equiped with high-tech materials but when the hunters follow them, they are on a truck with wheels of train from today so this doesn't fit very good and finally it kills the story and the credibility.

A french film on the TV called "Marche à l'ombre" with Gérard Jugnot and Richard Bohringer, talking about the life of homeless people. Really sad but so true...

Magyar Vándor (Hungarian Wanderer): many people say how funny this movie is. I didn't find it too funny...

Me, Myself and Irene: better comedy, that's for sure. Seen it for the second time. Gotta see it again on another day. One of my favourites. 8)

Ah... I saw new Miami Vice movie's teaser trailer... It wasn't really good, there wasn't that old classical Miami Vice feeling :( And no Don Johnson and Philip Michael Jones...
There was even some terrible hip hop in the trailer, I really hope that it's not coming to the movie... I hope that the new movie don't destroy Vice's status.
Oh well, there was still some good in that trailer: Cars. They looked pretty good. :) But I didn't see Crockett's Daytona (or Testarossa like later on in the original serie).... Even this is modern Miami Vice, I hope that they save at least something from serie!

My last movies I have seen was the thin red line, hide and seek and blair witch project.

bwp: not bad, frightening and very exciting! I was really surprised about the end (I thought I see a witch somehwere in the movie...)

hide and seek: not that hide and seek with Robert de Niro and the little girl. The story is about a kidnapped, pregnant woman who is a prisoner to spend the kidnappers her baby but she fights for her and her baby. very frightening exciting and finally a good movie!!!

thin red line: I think you all know this movie. I thought it is more powerful and exciting than it finally was. It is too long and the lows sometimes are too long - not very good IMO.
