Tolkki's guitar effekts

Well I love the sounds coming out of timo's guitar... I could probably not afford whatever guitar effects he got, but i would sure like to know what he got. Does anybody know what he uses? I think he uses Laney amplifiers(not sure wich)

Don't know... though one thing is certain: There is one hell of a lot of Delay in his sounds

and sometimes he boofs up the sound with Chorus...and I think I heard Flanging in one or two songs too! But mainly I think it's basicly heavy distortion with a lot of delay and some reverb...

Nope, he now uses ESP guitars, ENGL Amplification and TC Electronics effects.

Yep, he has been using Esp guitars for a while, anyone know what happened to his dolphin guitar? i have only seen a new black one in the latests pics

He uses both. He was playing the black guitar here in London until the end of Destiny when a string broke, and then switched to the Dolphin guitar for Black Diamond.

Probably for the same reason I use one of my basses instead of the other, i.e. no real reason!

Sure I use my new Jackson guitar more than I use my old crap guitar... But both of these guitars are proper kick ass.
