Vacations!!!

So...where are u going for vacations, it doesn't matter if it's now in the x-mas vacations, or next year, whatever.

Anyway, to-morrow I'm leaving...to...umm....StratoLink's country.
I'll be there until January 2nd. I'll try to post some pics when I return.

im going to Cuba in October, i really cant wait! the last time the Ritchie/Holt clan went on holiday was a few years ago to the South of France and its the best holiday ive ever had.
the whole Ritchie/Holt/Jacobs clan is going this time! [thats me and my immediate family, my grandma, my auntie, her fiance, my four cousins, my other auntie and uncle]
we're going to Cuba for my auntie and her fiance's wedding its going to be great! i havent seen my oldest cousin in aaaages and i really miss him so this shoul be a good chance to catch up.

Maybe I'll go to Mendoza after New Year. My aunt is inviting to her home, but I don't really know if I feel like going there, though it's a great and really quiet place...

apparently next year my dad and i are going to visit some folks in california and later he wants us to go to england to see my mum's family (i just want to go wander around the moors in cornwall because i'm obsessed with daphne du maurier books!)... but i think, if i'm getting a free trip, that i'd rather go to some summer festivals in finland and ... WACKEN!!! ... in germany.

but plans generally tend to fall through with my family, so i don't know!

... however, as cheesy as it sounds, my ideal vacation right now would be a weekend (or more?) alone somewhere with my "better half" because we barely see one another (oh my god i am such a sap!)

I will be driving up to Chicago in Febuary or March to visit one of my best friends who just moved up there to take a management job with Hyatt Hotels up there.

I love road trips. I haven't driven in snow since 2000, when I went up to Cleveland. Should be interesting.
