Here musicians can talk to each other about making music etc. Of course if you are not a musician you are still welcomed to this board, but the topics should somehow be about making music.

Weird-Looking Guitars =P

Who cares what they look like--it's the music that comes from them that counts! :headbang: Still, there are some unique(to say the least)guitars out there--for example, I bet the Sopranos would like these
Can you find any really crazy-looking ones--or, even extrordinarily beautiful ones with unique paintings&artwork on them?
I'll try to find some more.

The ESP Japan catalog has some very unique guitars. ESP is the most innovative guitar company in the market today if you ask me.

Innovative? Yeah. But you have to admit they do some pretty blatant ripoffs as well.

Where do the designers find all these ideas to create some horrible guitars?

I take it you're joking... Yngwie is the type that wouldn't touch anything but a Stratocaster
But that looks more like a piece of furniture than a guitar!
This has to be the worst, and most pointless one.
Each neck is tuned exactly the same. If one was a 7-string, one a 12-string, one fretless and one normal (for example) I'd understand, but this is just useless.

Looking at all those freaky guitars... can't help but think that most of those are just terrible to play... something like 0 playability... nah, I'll just keep playing my Epiphone SG goth and dream about Les Paul Studio in all-black
(though given chance, I would take the Dimebag-model any day

)

Not a mirror, i have a video clip of this dude playing, for those who don't know, it is Michael Angelo Batio, and when he had that guitar he was playing in a band called Nitro. Phenomenal guitarist. I was going to post a pic of it myself but i was beaten

Yes, I can see that. They have some crazy stuff in the ESP Japan Catalog, but the US models are pretty standard.

You might be able to order one from the Japanese ESP site. I got one a few years ago from a guy who works with ESP and the newest one with a guitar I ordered from Japan. They might even send you one in the mail free of cost.

Gosh! I love those models! They look simply breathtaking! Would get one any day if I had the money... but I don't and to get Ibanez limited editions one should win a lottery or alike... but heck! H.R Giger is my personal god! And to get a guitar with his art would just...rock!
But thus far, I can only dream about one of those
btw, anyone seen the mic stand Giger designed for Jonathan Edwards? (Korn) that is perhaps the most beautiful thing ever existed!
