What about ZoP&Back to Madness? I liked the style of those songs, too! :) Thats just my opinion, :)

And some songs by Lauri too. He is a new element, this fact might make the new albums more interesting as well.

I heard he did some back-up singing on the tour---is that right? Sounds inteesting. That should add a new dimension to the StratoSound!!!!

He did, and he even talked with the fans during his bass solo... in a bass sound.

Well, I don't think, he is actually going to sing anything on the album, he was "just" doing some backing vocals.

Well, I just hope some really fast songs, and some double bass like Speed of Light or Father Time. I also would like to hear a Destiny/Visions/Infinity song, and a Season of change or Night time eclipse style too. Also parts of the new album, and from the older. Some fast and heavy songs like Fright Night or Breake the Ice! To sum up, a mix of all the Stratovarius albums they've released (including a bit from elements, they're not so shitty). And of course, I wanna hear more keys solos!!!! I missed them in the new album!

I just love Back to Madness, it's so dark and depressive... reminds me of past hard times!

Back to Madness was easily the best song on Stratovarius-album for me. Really unique style, VERY progressive, but with clear classical influences and a very dark sound.

Fantastic.

The next album could maybe combine a mix between the past albums with heavy, sympho, speed songs, and also the last album with more heavy metal music?
Well, i'm sure anyway Stratovarius will work on new great songs.

Agree. That would be the most logical process.

The new album was good, I like it. Land of the ice and snow and Back To Madness are the best songs of it. I think that the next album is good. I like Twilight Symphony very much, so I hope that there will be songs like that.
I can't wait to see that fucking DVD! let's hope that it is good :D

I'm always up for MORE SHREDDING on the new album. Longer solos and guitar/keyboard duels. This would be awesome.

I think that STRATS should try and look forward in their next album and not try and do a clone album. There's no reason of making an Episode 2 or Visons 2 e.t.c. album. Some albums were made to be unique and these albums mustn't be "revisited". So, to conclude I would say that I want some new ideas in the next album. (as they did with Elements and the self titled album! 8) )

What really haunts me is Tolkki's statement "This is the NEW Stratovarius", and I'm not sure I'd like the new album to be a hard rock oriented, less symphonically epic one like the recent one, not that it was bad, however...

I wish the next album will be a nicely produced one and not just a focus on heaviness or a "hard-rocker" like the latest was intended to be. Me being a keyboardist, I'd love some epicness and elaborateness of Elements while being more progressive and not do the same songs over again. It'd be a miracle IMO if they abandoned the idea of singles as well, and focus on some mind-blowing compositions that defy commercialism and focus on the beauty of music, regardless of how "heavy" or "hardrockin" it may be...just my humble opinion  annd also some songwriting be the whole band, not just one person...

New album may be called "windows", no?

I think it will be more hard-rock, but remaining a pair of songs on classic double bass up-tempo power hits :D Also 1 long song, about 10 minutes, including a full variety of parts, from relaxing interludes to heavy riffs.

I hope you are right about the long song because I love Stratovarius Epics.

But they had the ad on the whole tour where it was advertised the next album as title "Windows", so it´s not JUST a joke. Though I think it´s still some kind of joke...

Yeah, very ultra speed songs like "Speed Of Light", "Find Your Own Voice", "Millenium" Rules !
More chorus with harmony like "Hunting High & Low" & "Eagleheart", more epics songs over 10 minutes like Infinity or Visions... Come back to Visions, Infinite, Elements era !!! :)
Infinity --- Where do we go from here ?

i hope it would not be the same kind of maniac dance. they must have taken a lesson yet. the powerfull stratovarius means the style of 4th dimension, dreamspace, episode and visions.
i do know that they must progress, experiment on different mattery, but that let them experiment on sth veeery different from intermission or the united album. time will show. :)

My spectation abaut the new album is some mix in the lyrics. I want to see, some koti's lyrics, I have Coldness album, and the lyrics are fucking awsome, very deep ones, if they mix that, tolkki music - Koti lyric, i think that we will heard something "new" on the songs.
Also, i want to see a lot of ideas by lauri, that will definitly change the songs without change the essence of Strato.
And other thing it's what we all want, the return of the double bass, please!
Don't give in to the hopelesness
Keep the innocence in your heart
And the end before your start
Be the warrior of the light
Don't give up without a fight

I want that Koti will move back to "not-so-high singing style" like in his solo albums.
And I want that they don't put cheesy lyrics there anymore :)

I think they should keep the line with the doublebass. By that way Jörg´s real capabilities can be heard better. :)

I love lyrix if they're cheesy or not

I would kill for one or two ballads on the same way as Falling into Fantasies or What can i say or even Dream with me in the new album.

I have one feeling: 'Stratovarius' album was just released to put attention on it: Next record it WILL be a terrific album, I Know!

Please try to say how will it be, not how you would like it to be
