The first childhood toy instrument I had was a little keyboard. My first "adult" one was an acoustic guitar my Dad got when he was a teen. I still have it, and before my gf's dad died he gave me an electric acoustic that I love to play.
That image above brought to mind childhood memories.
As to this topic, I guess guitars can look and be built in any way we want, as long as it has strings we will play it.
