3 - 0 for Czech Republic. Anyway, as I didn't watch the match, what happened to Jan Koller?? :(

I don't watch football too often :D but that wa smy impression

In the match against the Arg sub 20, Palacio played pretty amazing.

What do you think of a possible Messi-Saviola playing together? too much luxury? I think theyr'e the best players, and if they play together it will be like cheating!
Good to know! I'm also a River fan. :)

The match against the under-20 doesn't count as a measure of what can be done... It was just entertainment, a way of saying goodbye before leaving for Germany. They were playing soft to preserve their energies and to avoid injuries. The under-20 wasn't a real rival, so whatever Palacio did in that match, it has no relation to what he could do in the World Cup.

You can never have too much luxury in your team. :D I would take Crespo out and play with Saviola, Messi and Tévez. Crespo scores once in a while, but he has no ability whatsoever with the ball, and he lacks the element of surprise. Also, I would take out Burdisso... How the hell did he manage to be in the team in the first place?!? :?

But they didn´t. F*cking italos won 2-0. :(

I´m very afraid of how badly Jan Koller was injured. He has had a surgery some months ago already, think heard that from the game broadcast... Czech already have problems with Baros´s injuries and now this. Hope the best that both can play in the later games on the World Cup.

Czech rep. always have bad luck with injuries. Real shame, they have a super team. Hopefully nothing will happen to Nedved, I really want to see him do well in this world cup.

Shame, they played well but Abalo getting sent off really caused them harm. Koreans got the psychological advantage from that outstanding free kick.

One of the best games so far I think, 3 excellent goals and all the excitement and tension you can expect from the World Cup!

Ha! I'm participating in a bet for the World Cup. There are 33 people participating. Each of us put $5 and we have to guess the outcomes of the matches. We get points in many categories for guessing correctly, and in the end, the participant with the most points wins $99, the second wins $50 and the third wins $17. Out of the 33, about 30 said that France was going to win today. I said that France and Switzerland were going to tie. :D I'm almost the only one who got points for this game. :D

@ nepi: I thought that they were going to tie, but I wanted Switzerland to win!

Koller hopes to be back for the Czechs in their third game against Italy. He has NOT ripped a hamstring.

Actually, France has never been a great team.
They just reached a semi-final or something in 1994 and won the cup in 1998 (considering that the cup happened in France might have helped ?).
But after that victory, pp started to consider those french football players like superheroes. Come on, they suck. They are only "good" starring in stupid commercials for cheese, supermarket or ice cream.

France WIN fall and everybody will have fun of us, once again. :x

That is a big relief. Czech rep have had bad luck with injuries in the past.

Croatia played well, and gave the Brazilians a hard time, but Brazil managed to hold onto their 1-0 lead. Fantastic goal from a guy with a very bad name :D

It sounds especially bad in English because English commentators put the emphasis on the first syllabus. :D However, the emphasis should go on the second syllabus!

the outcomes have been a bit disappointing. except for Germany - Costa Rica and Mexico (WOOOOOOO) - Iran, most matches have ended in a single goal difference
