Sounds for my keys

Here musicians can talk to each other about making music etc. Of course if you are not a musician you are still welcomed to this board, but the topics should somehow be about making music.

Sounds for my keys

Post by MetalAngel » Mon Jun 12, 2006 4:36 pm

Good afternoon,

I'm in search for the sounds that Jens Johansson uses in Stratovarius and sounds that Tuomas Holopainen uses in Nightwish. I would like to know where I can download those sounds. My keys are Roland EXR-3.

Can someone help me?

Hm, I found some sounds hidden in my keys, but I miss me another one for Nightwish's "Stargazers". :( Nevertheless, I found 600 others sounds on my keys. 8)

are you looking for his lead sounds? cause you'd have to get a roland jv-1080 or 2080 and he doesnt hand it out to anybody. or go to www.progsounds.com and go to search type in jens then go to jens lead sculpting and try to make it from there which is a bitch but gets results.

Our keyboardist gets an exact replica of Jens' solo sound with his setup. But considering Kurzweil isn't exactly a budget brand... I can't help you :D

It's a nice piece of equipment though... considered investing?

perhaps... however if you have the money to buy one why stop there?... I mean why not go the extra mile and build it into the body of a steinway grand piano and bring that to all your shows...
