The woman ran away with her kids. Because she was into some internetchatsite. We think they have told her all the things she wanted to hear. So they (i think there were more people) came to get her and the kids and some of there belongings. Erased her pc. Nothing can be found on it anymore. And she and the kids are missing since.
Now the father wants his children back, because she didn't raise(i don't know how to write that) her kids very well. All she cared about was her computer and the kids didn't get her attention.
Rock On!!!

First of all, i'm really sorry to hear about your friend and her family :(

One thing : what kind of chat was it ? Was it a IRC-based one ?
Any company that host chats has the obligation to keep any track of the connexions (nickname, IP addresses) and sometimes every conversations. With those information, police should be able to track who did that.

I really don't know what kind of chat is was. We now think it was kind of a sect. But we can't track her down without help from the police, and the aren't doing anything right now, because she wrote a letter

Do you mean that before her leaving, she wrote a letter and asked that no one try to find her?
If so, police should do something, as she has kids with her. You know, it's "ok "if she wants to ruin her own life with a sect, but not her kids's life!
You said the dad wants to get the kids back. Then, the police has the obligation to look for them, even if the mum asked them not to do.

The police is doing nothing yet, because she wrote a letter. A she said she would contact the father, and that's why the police isn't doing anything.
But i totally agree with you, if she ruins her life, fine. Bur her kids didn't ask for it!!!

That's not a reason. She has kids with her. If the dad wants to find the kids and no one heard anything from the mum since, police MUST do something (especially if, like you said, the people who contacted her seem to belong to a fucking sect, because she or the kids could be murdered!).
