. Anyway, all the covers (3 or 4) on these albums are not too good
. The new songs are a bit better, like The Story Ain't Over, but nothing somehow special.
I wasn't desappointed too, but I didn't have great expectationsMormegil wrote: ABBA-cover would've been a good idea if it wasn't the same song (Lay All Your Love On Me) that Helloween already covered on their Metal Jukebox.
The Story Ain't Over is one of my favourite songs of this year. Another Angel Down and Promised Land are good, maybe a bit too generic power metal, but I hope that's just the reason why they were released on EPs.
I had great expectations for these EP's and they didn't dissapoint. I even like all the covers.
Good for you, those are great albums. Especially Holy Land.OutOfTheShadows wrote:Angra - Angels Cry

I got that for Christmas, But the last albums I bought were Score (CD version) and Metropolis Pt.2 Scenes from a Memory.exe knight wrote:DT - Systematic Chaos
Well...I like it, it's not so far anything as good as The root of all evil, Another won, Raise the knife or Octavarium, but it's still pretty awesome.
Enjoy one of the greatest metal albums ever created.*Deni* wrote:Helloween - Keeper Of The Seven Keys part 1

The solo on Voices is Petrucci's finest work in my opinion. An outstanding display of technical skill and feeling.exe knight wrote:Dream Theater - Awake
Once listened, but it's just fine, especially the more powerfull songs like 6.00 and The mirror...and Erotomania was cool too.
Also the slower songs were fine, one listen so no much picture of them anymore, but I quess Space dye vest was best of these (avaruuden värinen aluspaita)
