It's "diagnosed" as russofobia and it's quite common here in Finland. The vain fear of WWII (and WWI) enemy Soviet Union, the fear of occupation of home country, fear of communism and other things like that.

Finns still can't get over it? It was 65 years ago, the Soviet Union is no more ...

That's true. It's just something subconscious; some kind of racism. Sad but true.

Well, maybe then I'm racist too... Sorry guys. I think that this is "stereotypiaa" (finnish word, I can't translate it)

I think it's a bit similar in Hungary too. The Sovjetunion and communism ruled Hungary for more than 40 years, and you can see the diferrence between our country and for example Austria.

Now we have big debts, shitty economy, and less moral.

But I think, that we don't have this "hate"/dislike against the russians, rather against the communism itself, and any communists.

I don't think this is called "racist". It's just being "protectionist". The fear of the alien. It's a totally different thing than the "fear of the other race" (eventhough medias and pseudo-smart-guys try to tell us). Ok, i'm playing with words, but that's it.

And ja, that's true. Finnish is a really protectionist country. But is Russia too... and Germany... and many other countries.

It's true that Finnish people don't like Russian people in general. They also don't like Swedish people much... I guess it's mostly due to the History of Finland and WW2.

But protectionist goes way beyond the fear of Russians and Swedishs. it's the fear of Alien, in a more general way. Those fear of Alien (blabla... here came a speech about me, in the middle of Finland, dating a finnish girl, but getting blackmails and threats by finnish guys, but I don't think anyone in here wanna know...) It's a natural feeling, to be afraid to Aliens.
If I see someone that I dunno in my house, I freak out. If I'm sitting next to a person that I dunno in the bus, I don't feel so confortable. When a stranger come to talk to me in the street, I get quite scared. It has always been like that, with "Aliens". It's the same thing in France, in German, In USA...
But it's totally stupid to generalize, to say for ex stuffs like "he's russian, therefore he's stupid". In every country, there are nice people, and bad people... Thus, in every country there are people who accept Aliens, and people who abuse them.

Ah what the fuck am I trying to be nice, we're not in Tolkki forum in here... I say blast them all !!!!

Powerofmetal.differ.ru

Grisha
