Why do people that don’t like something subjective and personal, such as music, that they have the freedom to avoid, spend time and energy being negative about it?

my veiw is don't like it? stfu and focus on something you do like. if your gonna be a clown and attempt to insult a band that gets paid more and laid more than you at least be creative and make funny comparisons or make over the top statements.
