It's a Finnish error message. Which is pretty odd since the RR forum server is in the US.

Aha, now i see. You tried to access the forum via http://www.revolutionrenaissance.com/ . That server is in the Netherlands, I'm not sure if that domain is under the control of anyone in the band. It's registered by some "suncomet" company in Jyväskylä. That probably explains the Finnish error message. But it's a non-standard "page not found" message that I imagine was put there by hand. Who knows!!

For now the most official RR addresses that are in any sort of reliable operation I suppose are

http://www.saana-warrioroflight.com/ and http://www.timotolkki.com/ are still down. The latter with a "NXDOMAIN" error (there is no DNS record even but it's still registered). The Saana site is pointing to a saunalahti machine but all the content was removed at some point.

Someone pointed out to me that there was a curious post in the aforementioned RR forum:

I heard from a very reliable source (someone in the band) that Tolkki fired everyone in the band. If that is true, it really sucks. I also heard rumors that this could be another publicity stunt from Stratovarius guys and that they will unite soon. The source is also close to the band Stratovarius.
Now, everybody knows that MissK and all that was a publicity stunt planned by Tolkki alone. Now again? What is wrong with these guys, can't they just stick to the music?

As to this information ... well, who knows who put it there, and for what reason, and let's see how quickly it gets removed by moderators. Seems it has been up there now all day ... like I said, something seems a bit curious!

Anyway.. as to TT firing his band I can't comment, I have no idea. I hope not!

As to some sort of Stratovarius reunion with Tolkki: I can say conclusively that it's not going to happen. Everybody -- us guys in the band, management, labels etc -- are really happy with how things are going at the moment, with the rest of us working together with Matias on this new fresh material. It really is a situation where you now have two good bands instead of one, and everyone wins in a way.

Regarding the last comment -- I can only speak for myself, and plenty is wrong with me, but presently I really am sort of sticking to music

RR-forum is a strange place. I go there now and then to look for news and there never are any. A few persons write there regularly and ask the same questions. They got the same answers. Silence!! It is a not functioning forum and makes no one happy.
I have heard the same rumors about that mr Tolkki dismissed his RRguys under a stormy squabble, but when I saw them together with Stratos I couldnt believe it. They looked really merry and not at all fired.

I don't believe that about RR members being fired, either. If those guys were fired it must've happened in the past few days?

that harveter post is strange. people love to call things publicity stunts. a album gets more publicity than a member change. i also always thought that for something to be a stunt one has to say one thing with the knoledge that it will not turn out that way. when mss k was hired tolkki did not know that kotipelto would rejoin and if he did both tt and tk would have known. to me that makes it not premetitated and therefor not a stunt.I would also like to know how someone in the band can say something if the entire band is fired?

That domain was registered for someone who posted in RR forum saying: "Hey Tolkki, I own the domain! Pay me!", Well it was really lame...

I used to think: "Hey, don't worry man, now we have two good bands instead of one!" but...maybe that is just an illusion.

Maybe we had a band making perfect music imo and now we have nothing.

Who knows, I don't trust anything.

Now Tolkki leaving and eating some pizzas in Italy with Vision Divine.

He left and well, there's nothing more. Now this rumor, what's next?
Maybe we will listen some music again, maybe we will end in a Sanitarium, cause this can't be good, you know. Madness, srange situations, UFO, Stephen King's screenplays, bears, even harvesters.

Shaman's Pocket show in EXPO MUSIC, will have the special participation of Gustavo Monsanto, the vocalista of Revolution Rennaissance(band of the former Stratovarius' guitarrist Timo Tolkki).



The show will be in the SONITEC's stand at 20:00 in EXPO-MUSIC-SAO PAULO-BRAZIL

well I dont know whats going on but Tolkki and Mike visit the site on a regular basis, You can tell by going to there profile and seeing when they were last online. Mike was just on today! and Tolkki 2 days ago.
Its also pretty strange that Mike isn't answering my emails, he used to always answers them =/

Well at least there are Jens and Co. They are doing an awesome job at keeping us up to date. With the video's and blogs. You guys are probably very busy but still take time out to keep us in the loop, Thanks guys!

Sorry, I know nothing about this. It looks like Mike Khalilov logged in to the RR forum after this was posted, and didn't delete the post or comment on it. If Mike and the other guys were fired, then that is pretty weird. If Mike and the other guys were not fired, then that is pretty weird too. Whatever this is, it's just weird and Mike is OK with it or in on it even. I would not pay much attention to it.

I can now confirm that "Harvester" in the Revolution Renaissance forum is Timo Tolkki posting under an alias. It is not easy to understand why he is doing this.

It could be an attempt to get some attention again, and create rumors. Then he can also later say: haha, don't believe all the false things you read on the internet by anonymous people, for instance such as this Mörkö. Or it is wishful thinking. It could even be a little of both. Maybe Timo Tolkki regrets leaving his old band, and secretly hopes they would welcome him back. From what I know this will never happen, all the bridges are burned and they have moved on with Matias now.

I had a strange feeling that mr Tolkki was behind that "Harvester" but I hoped somehow I was wrong. But there are similarities in expressions. AND it must be someone that has power over the forum otherwise he had been banned long ago.

I think we should pay attention to music. Last update by Lauri contains a video, sharing music and the recording process indoors. That topic shouldn't been less visited than this actual one. This one has twice views indeed.
TimoT is not talking on the forums and not replying but he may have his reasons. Probably those reasons will turn into music soon, or maybe music is the reason.
There's also great music happening on the other side, this side, Stratovarius or side. Rock the metal and let time bring the answers.

With that one person per ip address universal law I’m guessing morko would need other sources to know it was tolkki. Soon enough we will know if the full name was harvester of shit or if there were some truths.

Can these videos on stratovarius website really be called promotion? I can’t imagine a record company looking at one then granting them a big contract for it or it causing a huge YouTube craze for presales of an album.

Inventariado is right. Time is the only key that unlocks answers (or buries with the truth in the tomb). But in this kind of hard situation and understanding, it's better to ask. ASK and be PATIENT!!!
