Timo/ Matias acoustic in TV2 (Finland), Deep Unknown links
I think the problem is that somebody is always giving to Jens "wrong" information, cause the same happened with the DU premiere.

Timo and Matias are apparently playing on "Ne Salmiset" on monday 18th may.
http://www.propromotion.fi/2009/04/29/s ... lla-tvssa/
it says there that the TV2 thing was just supposed to be an interview and they will be playing as a duo on Ne Salmiset, which is a show where people actually perform. I found the date by doing some more googleing.

Let's hope that that's the real thing then
Would really like to see an acoustic performance by TK and Matias.

Will someone record the "Ne Salmiset" thing and put it online?

I saw a part of this interview but I don't understand nothing, finnish sounds like japonese

If all Stratovarius songs are singing in english, why not to do interviews in english too!?

Still, seems a bit odd that they don't record their albums in Finnish. (Or if they do, somebody's been lying to me.
) Granted that they're apparently pretty popular in their home country.
At least, none that I remember... was there a Finnish recording of Papillon? I know it was multilingual, with a French and I think German version, among others...

That would be interesting to hear some songs played in different languages. With Disney songs I like to watch the compilations that have a song in 20 different languages. It’s likely just because I know English, but to me it fits the favorite usually. Part of that could be that an at least with Disney songs they are written for English words so the syllables and vowels can fit together with melody lines.

There is a finnish demo of Liberty called "Vapaus" with really funny lyrics.Xelrog T. Apocalypse wrote:Still, seems a bit odd that they don't record their albums in Finnish. (Or if they do, somebody's been lying to me.) Granted that they're apparently pretty popular in their home country.

I'm happy that they don't record the songs in finish. Because if they did I propably wouldn't listen to them because I wouldn't be able to understand the lyrics.Xelrog T. Finnish is a language that's ideal for swearing, drunken karaoke and taking shit, not for singing music like Stratovarius.Ragehead91 wrote:I'm happy that they don't record the songs in finish. Songs in finnish are really nice. It's a pity that I don't know what they say, but they sound great. Falconer released like 3 tracks in finnish in their last album.
Heck, I can even sing Per Tyrssons Döttar I Vänge from the top of my head!

Re: Timo/ Matias acoustic in TV2 (Finland), Deep Unknown links
But I have to agree. These songs are great even if I don't understand a word of what they say. I think Mathias Blad could sing anything and it would sound good. Even if he just would say the ABC it would be gold XDfernandotcl wrote:Good point!

I just put the TV on like half an hour ago and saw Timo and Matias playing "Winter Skies" acoustically. Only saw like the last minute and a half, but it sounded really good! Hopefully the video can be found online!

What do I chose?
