TK & MK CORRECTION, Wacken Rocks postponed, + other news

Timo Kotipelto and Matias Kupiainen will be performing one song acoustically in Finnish MTV3 on May 18, 20:00. The Wacken Rocks shows have been postponed to end of August. And lastly, the "Deep Unknown" video will be available on Scuzz TV starting tomorrow.

1) In the earlier news update here, I (Jens) got some information mixed up. The TV2 appearance on May 2 was an interview. The one acoustic song performed by Matias and Timo will actually be broadcast on May 18, in Finnish channel MTV3. The show is called "Ne Salmiset". http://www.telkku.com/?p=20090518 . Sorry about the misinformation!

2) Sadly, the Wacken Rocks shows have been postponed due to an issue beyond the control of either Stratovarius or the Wacken Rocks arrangers. The entire event has been rescheduled for the end of August. Here are the new dates:

August 29, 2009 Wacken Rocks -- Kreuth, Germany
August 30, 2009 Wacken Rocks -- Aurich, Germany

The Polish Stratovarius gig on May 24 will also be cancelled because of this. We will try to reschedule and fit Warsaw (and possibly some other Polish shows) around the end of August also. More news when we have it.

3) If you haven't seen it already, the video for "Deep Unknown" will be online from tomorrow onwards ( May 8 ) on the UK site Scuzz TV, where you can always rate and vote for it. The address of the site in general is http://www.scuzz.tv . I will post the direct link when I have it ..

4) The band is merrily rehearsing and preparing for the tour, and everything is going very well!

Yes, it's been 8 days hasn't it! Sorry, we've been busy rehearsing and it's been a bit hectic. I actually have a little time free right now and I will deal with this competition mailbox and the random winner picking script..

After a couple of listens, "Deep Unknown" seems to sound like it has a bit of prog-like phrasing in it. Nothing wrong with that though- proggy power metal!

I'm hoping to find a copy of the new release at the local FYE (For Your Entertainment) store at the mall, and am looking forward to having it in heavy rotation on my car's CD changer.

I assume it was from the Competition here on the forums as this is the only competition I have entered. The e-mail came from Twisted Talent so I was a bit confused at first, but I don't really see me winning a competition I didn't enter.

This is very amazing!! Oh man, I confirm it again, my love for this band is huge! They are the best of the best !!!! Number one!! excellent performance of both guys, really good, honestly, I think Timo's voice is getting better with the time I like much more his voice now than in the old videos and Matias, what can i say, he plays so good, he is the perfect choice for the band, I really like his style!

May I ask, what did they say at minute 2.34? Any help? Will be really appreciate it, I need to learn finnish, by the way I'm looking for a teacher if you know anyone who speaks finnish here in toronto?
