Not surprising, and I hope it makes it to number 1, Polaris deserves such greatness after all the years since E1. Good luck to the rest of the tour guys!JensJohansson wrote:We are sitting in the dressing room in Dublin and just received some really nice news. We are quite happy to announce that POLARIS just hit #2 on the Finnish album charts.
Thank to all our Finnish fans who have bought the album instead of downloading it!
Indeed. Actually, here in germany Metal albums also trop into the mainstream charts sometime. The problem is that Mainstream Media doesn't really give a shit....Bathory Killcraft wrote:Congratulation!
Damn, Finland is such a metal country to live in. Where else you'd have metal bands topping mainstream charts and pertain popular culture in such a way. Rest of the world - take fukking notice and follow suit!
Damn.
Yeah, I was meant to mention Germany too. Sodom once entered at #34 with Agent Orange I think. Quite impressive considering what they're playing. Germany is definitely a metal motherlandRagehead91 wrote:Indeed. Actually, here in germany Metal albums also trop into the mainstream charts sometime. Dream metal country plus I absolutely adore the climate there.

I'm happy for you guys. I didn't really have my hopes high after Deep Unknown -single, umm, underperformed, but this makes up for it.
=O oh my... that's interesting... american-style hip-hop in Suomi.
what is the meaning of "Liekeissä"?
Wait, is there anything else but American-style hiphop anyway?
Do you have any idea of the link to get access to "radio rock" and be able to listen that station through internet? Would be awesome.mayhem-for-all wrote:Polaris is on CDON.com sites Tv commercial!
TK was on radio rock commercial (I think. well I'm not sure was it radio rock commercial)
And They were talking about Polaris and Lauri on radio rock another day. They just introduced When Mountains Fall (I was quite suprised to hear that WMF was the song they played on the radio.)
And they also played on a few other times Deep Unknown.
So they are doing well in the media.
Maybe this will cause a new generation of fans.
