It'll be hard to top Gambling with the devil, but as always I'm sure Helloween is up to the task

Well I said they could always do it. They could also sometimes do it or never do it again.

I wonder why there is a lack of love for Sascha Gerstner, I mean he has a great guitar style which I believe is on par with both Kai and Roland.
I love the albums he's done with Helloween

I don't know. Probably because he's been in the band "only" for like 6 years. I think he's an awesome guitar player, his style fits perfectly.

And because any excuse is good to post pics of Andi :P BTW, he should do another solo album...

Oh yeah I'm waiting for the day he snaps and tells them "the trix and no one gets hurt"

A lot of people will call it blasphemy but when Sascha came in it still sounded like Helloween I didn't notice too much of a difference, the biggest difference for me mainly was the drumming, although I didn't think it was bad, just different

On par with Kai, no. On par with Grapow, maybe. Great guitar player? yes.

Don't get me wrong Sascha of course has his own style but I still think he's great and fits in the band perfectly.

I never said that he don't. I just don't think he is on par with Kai or Roland.

Guess that is a matter of opinion, but I was merely asking the question as to why he's gets slammed on so much by others, it's not as if he's a crappy player.

Well, with Roland and Kai he has hard footsteps to fill. And I can actually understand that some hardcore fans don't like him. Most of the Hansen and Kiske Hardcore fans don't like anything that came after Keepers II anyway.

Oh I understand that he does not have an easy task, however I think he plays great and works his ass off in that band, I mean he's written a ton of songs for them already it's not as if he's lazy.

As far as the hardcore fans of the first three albums go I really don't think they should consider themselves fans as they only listen to just those albums. To me(and this is just my opinion)a fan is someone who sticks with the band through it all, the good, the bad and the ugly.

Those people who like the first three albums should just think of themselves merely as people who happen to like a few albums from the band.

Well, go and tell them XD Seriously, I'm sick of those guys who keep telling me that "true Helloween" only existed from 1985 to 1988 and that Andi Deris killed Helloween.

Oh I've told them before but I basically get the same as you, they keep telling me why kiske is the lord their savior and why Weikath and Deris were the Judas's who killed the band, that Kiske should resurrect himself and restore Helloween to it's former glory and all after he's turned the water into wine.

Seriously though they look at him like he's Jesus or something, I mean the guy is a great singer but I completely agree with you, he's too damn arrogant and he doesn't sound as original as Deris.

That they are. Just on You Tube... almost every Helloween video I've seen has some stupid "Kiske foverer" or "Deris sucks" comment.

About Sascha, he sure had some big shoes to fill, but has been doing a great job as a guitarist and as songwriter.

I think all the YouTube videos have it the other way as well and somehow manage to fit insults of dragonforce in there too. It’s what YouTube comment space is for I guess and one can just hope that sometimes the comments are witty or corny enough.

Babylon:I agree most of the insults are usually from Kiske fans who want to take a stab at Deris. Sascha I think is great and he had already proven how good he was when he was in Freedom Call.

Icecab:and your right for some strange reason they always throw in some Dragonforce insult, that poor band probably has more enemies then Metallica does.

It’s a good thing for dragonforce to have so many haters, since they won't shut up about the band it gives free advertising and more people listen. Have you ever heard of a band that gets tons of hate yet does not get tons of fans as well? The two really go hand in hand I think. With rick rolling that guy has to be rolling in it.

Actually there is a guy who calles himself "Derissucks" who made it his business to comment "DERIS SUCKS!" on every Helloween video involving Andi Deris.
