Thread of Philosophizing

Post by Suomalais-Saamelaine »

so ya, I figured I'd be a little original and make a new thread. Basically you philosophize in this thread, share your opinions, theories, and so on.

Temporarily I won't take part in this discussion, maybe in a few days or so.
First poster gets to chose topic.

Dont trust anybody. Period. ;)

I mean, feel free to love, respect, care about, work together, play, and have fun with people. You can even let your guard down but never, ever say with seriousness that you trust anyone with your life because you just might wind up very hurt and disappointed!

"Get all the education you can. Read all you can and learn all you can. Because knowledge is the only thing that people cannot take away from you!"

When I graduated high school a lady I knew who ran a successful little grocery store told me that. I took some of her advice for sure, and she is right, actually. She should know........her sexy neighbor ran off with her husband of 30 years. So, its true. Knowledge is power. She did not have her husband any more but she could still brag about being able to do calculus. :buh:

A man should so live that at the close of every day he can repeat: "I have not wasted my day".
And the meaning of this life is to live and is to die. Make the best out of your dreams, they are the world where you are free.

Well, it's rather difficul starting a true philosophical conversation on a forum, so well, we just publish pertinent, funny, philosophical...quotes!
