EMANCIPATION SUITE PART 1 - MINUTE 4,50 TO 6,26.

---ABSOLUTELY AMAZING JENS AND MATIAS---

That part is the best of the whole album for me. I can listen the best Jens (seriously, amazing) and maybe one of the best solos that Matias will never play. You know, there are sometimes that in the first albums from a band (in this case, from a member) , you always listen the best songs or solos or compositions, and I think the solo in Emancipation Suite part 1 and in Winter Skies too, will be remembered as one of the best that Matias will never play.

What about Lauri he composed it

He deserves at least the same congratulations for incrible work with Polaris.

No sorry at all!

I do not know anything about music and especially making of music (and you can notice that very clearly from my comments...) but I think that Matias is amazing talented guitarist. That part in Emancipation pt 1 is pure gold. And also I personally like Emancipation pt 2 guitar in the end of the song. It is so touching.

Yes some of the most melodic and emotional Guitar solos ever written.

I didn't feel any emotion in any of the guitar solos on the album, and didn't find any of them very impressive. Not to say they're bad, but I didn't enjoy Matias's solos that much. :P

I think Matias' solos on the album are awsome. To each his own!

The whole Emancipation Suite story is the best part of the album, the two songs together. It's one of those best Stratovarius moments I've only experienced in Visions, Destiny, Mother Gaia, Elements, United and so forth. Fabulous work from every musician of the band! And those solos really are touching, such as the Winter Skies solo. And Jens' in King of Nothing. All these three (KoN by Jens, Winter Skies by Matias and both in Emancipation) make my arm hair go up which is the sign for me of the absolute quality and emotion. :)

After many listens, I would say Emancipation Pt. 1 became my favorite song too. Maybe along with Falling Star, which at first listen I didn't really like. :D

About "Emancipation - part I", I was a little disapointed when I read the officials lyrics, cause every time I listened to it, at the beginning, I was hearing "I'm starring at the last race of the sun", and in the officials lyrics, it's "rays", and I really prefer "race", but well, it's personal!

Many mountains we have climbed
But all the bad times are behind
The road is free - I'm coming home

I love that song, especially the solo that both Matias and Jens break into at the end.
