suggestions for next album
Songs have some metal/rock band influences that a whole lot more than jovi has been doing and doing before jovi. He even got that kiss drummer to be on avantasia and for years he has said how he has liked American 70s/80s rock.

Re: suggestions for next album
I have Crush and that Cross Roads collection of Bon Jovi, and I'm familiar with other hit songs there are in his discography, too, and I've never even thought of Sammet's music resembling Bon Jovi's. Now that you mention it, yes, it is possible there are similarities, influences, but I still think they are very different. Sammet has more variations; he does longer songs, too, still some power metal tracks, and often just throws in some stupid but still lovable lyrics, too.
I always thought Sammet's style nowadays is more towards Kotipelto, whereas Bon Jovi is with those lighter hair metal greats of the 80s, such as Europe. These are pretty similar styles, but I don't think it's the same after all. Also many newer bands making something that I think is between them, such as Brother Firetribe, Leverage and Altaria.

Okay, forget about Bon Jovi. I just hate how Edguy has become a Heavy Rock Band. I hate the new direction they're heading in. I think Sammet trying to sing low just sounds stupid. I think the last 2 albums were just horrible. I think Tinnitus Sanctus is a disgrace for the band. I hate how Tobi acts like a Hair Metal diva nowdays. It just seems so unnatural. I don't see how this is "staying true to oneself". I just really hate what Edguy is doing since 2006 and I thinK Tinnitus Sanctus and Rocket Ride are horrible, horrible albums that should've never been made. And sorry, but you can't really call Tinnitus Sanctus Power Metal. Rocket Ride, maybe. But Tinnitus Sanctus isn't Power Metal.

I'm sure those things have already been said, but:
Again, everyone writes songs.
Even more keyboard, I freeking love keyboards.
Same kind of artwork.
Always those melodies, fucking melodies!
Solos!
And maybe something more personal: why not having a grunter as a guest, I'd love to hear a duet between TK and Petri Lindroos, or Ville Sorvali, Mark Jansen, Johan Hegg...but that's just a dream!

Through the storms we've wandered
Many mountains we have climbed
But all the bad times are behind
The road is free - I'm coming home

But all the bad times are behind
The road is free - I'm coming home

Who are you to know who sammet is or tell him how to play? Metal/rock/ goofy clown music is about doing your own thing, it’s about liking what you like and not giving a shit about what you don't like. It’s not about acting like an egomaniac control freak that has to dwell and complain about people doing their own thing and not catering to your needs. It’s one thing to just say you hate it and move on, but to say it should not have been made is just over the top and selfish.
