Hey there,

It's been a while since I last visited this forum. So much has changed. How have you all been?

Well, there's no longer a need to visit Blabbermouth as the forumite Ragehead91 pastes everything worth reading from there here so that saves me a bit of clicking every day, hiro23 is trying to get his band off the ground, AAAAAAAAAA has gone completely insane and registered another 15 accounts with similar names and identical avatars and spends time replying to himself, BEG posts many links with featuring nearly-nude women, miditek still hopes the entire Muslim world will be nuked, icecab21 snipes at anyone and everyone, stratoplayer moved to St. Louis for some reason, Ahlimatiinen has vanished off the face of the planet as has NordicStorm.

More has changed, but I'm currently too bored to type anything else.

:) Neon. You are so wrong about A10. He is the sanest person in this forum. I am A9 and I and the other A's try to follow him as best as we could. We are LIKE a family and what started as a joke has become our true nicks. I think I talk for all of us when I say "We are A's now".

So don't blame A10 for our shortcomings and place the critique where it belongs. Enjoy A10's sarcastic language as his alone. And we are all white sheep in our family...even if some will se us as hircismus's. :uzi: :uzi: :uzi:

Well, this forum has changed a bit over the years. For the good! For one thing its less formal than it used to be, and much much less smartass and cranky. Used to be people would bite anothers head off for really trivial stuff. I mean, I would go to other forums and compare, and say, "WOW! Other forums are so laid back, and open minded, and people in Stratoforum get pissed over nothing!"
Now, we are more relaxed and hopefully take everyday crap less seriously.
Still, we do not allow useless bashing of other people, namecalling and such. Actually, since we have became more laid back and informal such things as that have became LESS common than in the old days of 2002-2005, or there about.
But as a forum we are more good natured than we used to be, which is definitely a good thing. :)

 I think you are right as usual and I also think that we can thank our dear Emoticons for a lot. You can say angry things with a laugh  or some bomb :pissed: and you can shoot with uzis as much you want. :uzi:

For love there is even more. :luvstory: :luv2: :kiss2: :luv1:

But those are the ones I like most. :errrr: :buh: :shud: :err:

And lets not forget those 1-2 years when no one really posted here at all.
When I visited this forum that time, I remember thinking "I wonder if there are any new messages by anyone." Nowadays I'm just thinking "how long will it take for me to just read all the new posts through." :P
If you ignore some minor details, I think this forum is currently better than even.

I was mainly thinking of other discussion turning into Blabbermouth flood, You've cut it down a bit, so you don't bother me all that much. :P

Howdy,

It indeed looks kinda mellow out here right now, which is the way I like it. One of the reasons I left this forum a couple of years ago was that there was a lot of general craziness going on with Stratovarius, and it rubbed off on some of the people on this forum. It's a good thing those trolls packed it up while the sincere people stuck around; this place has greatly improved for it. Thanks for the update!

Cheerio,

D.
