Bots are not able to register accounts anymore due to the changes in the
Forum.
If you see any spam, that is a real person who registered and those users and their

No they won't
Revolution Renaissance has no planned tours or shows at the moment. The rumours about a tour with Sonata Arctica are not true.

:) Thank the Lord for A's! The thought that there in this forum only were rooms for Mayhems is really frightening. That would have been much worse than some bots.  Huuuuuuu

Got damn it Tolkki! What is the problem with telling us that you'll go on tour with Sonata?

HAHA it really surprised me. Napalm records. Whenever I think of that label I always think of Folkish metal bands, like Korpiklaani, Finntroll, Alestorm etc. Is this whats next!!?? A folk / power metal album?

I hope for something like New Era. Granted that album wasn't the best Tolkki has done but it is still WAY better than AoA.

 Why not? Come on! It's fun. Think of Mayhem 5,9,10,11,12 and so the little ones. Mayhem 1/2,Mayhem 1/3 and so on. At last you wouldn't know if it was you or some of the others. You could surprise yourself by how clever you are (of course by one of the others).

Elements Part II
Stratovarius
Revolution Renessaince

Should he really continue writing power metal songs? Maybe one-two yes. But whole albums? I don't think so. He can't show anything new nowdays. Before Elements II we could experience new feelings by each release. Whenever I could get a hand on one of the older Stratovarius albums I just couldn't put it down. Not as with the 3 albums I listed above. Hymn to Life is much better than any of those 3.

BEG:LOL me thinks that your thinking too much

As far as RR news goes yes it is good news that they will release a new album however that's not the news I wanna hear right now, what I want to hear is when the tour is finally going to happen.

I mean are they going to be strictly a studio band?

No. Stratovarius, no matter what anyone say, was a good album. It was different from the old albums but it was good and had great songs. New Era was medicre but also had a few good songs (Heroes, I Did it My Way, Last Night on Earth, Keep the Flame Alive, RevolutioN Renaissance). Those 2 albums are WAY better than the narcotic Hymn To Life. I agree on Elements II though.

I like all those albums, except the wannabe powermetal parts on E2, I'm still alive is good song, but that if something is just repeating old stuff, and Know the difference would be good song but it lacks something... :? ...etc.

I don't own New era as they gave so many samples that I haven't bothered yet, because of that I then bought AoA without listening to any samples, and I love that album now.

And I have to say that I like Htl as a calm album, but the production could have been better, I still think though that Father is amazing song, except for the more calm part which actually sounds like he wants some sympathy.

Tolkki

Post by Tjabo » Thu Sep 03, 2009 9:00 am

Whats up with his band?
Tolkki is cool as hell and I hope you have some good news now...

I tried to read here but there are so many different rumors and contra-dick-ting information left and right.

Whats the real story? When is there an album and tour?

What the RR forum really needs are responsable active mods ¬¬...
I could do it, I've been global mod in a Sonata Arctica forum for over 2 years now.
