 Now they have a MOD and he took out the page with all the naked girls and the ads for Viagra. It was a short happiness for those who was so exultant. Maybe it comes back soon and you can start all over again -without the porr.

Originality, especially in the song title and lyrics. The "Serenity" poem appears in a gazillon places particularly on an infinite number of touristy items. He should have expressed the same sentiment in an original way, but he seems to have become reliant on the words of others. "United we stand, divided we fall" ?? Good lord, that's so trite a grade school baseball coach wouldn't dare use it. "I did it my way" was the worst. I couldn't stand it when Frank Sinatra used it. For TT to repeat it was just unbearable for me. He needs to infuse originality into all areas of his music. I guess that was what he was trying to do with his non-power metal records, but it didn't work.

Doesn't "United" have Kotipelto's lyrics? I thought so at least.

Ok, so TT is off the hook w/that one. TK can do better. You know, it's hard to find track info on this. I've been looking.

Tt is on the hook for self titled, for better or for worse that is up to the individual’s preferences. For me, saying the same thing in a different way is still saying the same thing, and a song is about what you are trying to say, not about how creative you are at saying it.

I disagree. Anyone can regurgitate the same words that have been said a thousand time before. The creative mind, like he has had in the past, absorbs those ideas and re-evaluates them, as well as retells them in a different, hopefully, more interesting way. That has been his strenghth for me in the past. Seems he isn't doing it lately. It's not just about the words, though they are telling.

is 2/4 lines and a different context of who is being asked really the same? Tolkki is not asking the christain god to grant these, therefore the context is more original to tolkkis personal philosophy.

God grant me the serenity
to accept the things
I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Give me a way to accept things
I cannot change anymore
The courage to change the things I can
And the wisdom to know the difference

I know, I know. Maybe I should've asked why ppl care so much. I think it is nothing new that Tolkki puts his hompages offline at random. According to Jens they also did it with the Stratovarius page on a few occasions.

Don't know, if he sets me up on that flight I'll definitely know if it's the real him or not.

if it is I'm on my way to Finland to meet him and hopefully get a good Q&A in, if not then I'll most likely get emails full of spam.

We will all simply have to wait and see
