Ya, traffic was aggravating on the way there trying to pick up someone at the last minute, but thankfully everything worked out. The show started late. The doors were supposed to be at 7 at the meet and greet didn't start until about 7:30. It was cool to meet the band, but it wasn't too personal or anything. Just kinda a systematic signing of a poster and a picture and semi-early entry. I got to give my complements and get a lot of their solo albums and special stuff signed; even bought the band drinks B) I'm very appreciative of the opportunity and woulda just given them the extra money just for the love of the band anyway so thanks!

The set list above is accurate. My highlights were Destiny, Jen's opening improv keys to winter skies and the interlude, the guitar/bass solo had some top tier musicianship, Kiss of Judas was banging, Father Time was killer. Every song was fantastic. The crowd was really cool participating and Timo even complemented us as being one of the best on the tour! The venue was pretty damn packed for a Wednesday. Lots of headbanging. Overall a beautiful performance and Matias is a very competent and gifted guitarist! Long live Strato and best of luck through Central and South America!

Thank you for the great show. You have been amazing. Your
interaction with the fans reached a new height Timo.

I made it to the show. I called the venue during the day and
they told me Strato would start at 10:50 PM. I was really happy.
I have many pictures and a couple vid that I'll upload.
It has been so great, sad and amazing at the same time. It was
really hard to imagine a Strato concert without Tolkki but
the band has been so good it made up for it. Opening
with Destiny was special because on my first concert, during the
Destiny tour , they used to open with Destiny again. It was like 99
for me for a second. Destiny, Judas , Winter Skies and Forever
have been highlights for me. Winter Skies is my fave song off the
new album and live it was so emotional. Forever is the definitive
best Strato ballad ever but Winter Skies is fast becoming my second
fave (as a ballad). Jens does a great job and Timo's singing is
so emotional.

By the way Father time was in the encore between Forever and
Black Diamond.

I have so much to say, maybe I'll do that when I'll upload stuff.

Thank you again for the great show. I hope I can get to see Strato
live again soon.

Well, I know I'm a few days late, but I finally made it back home after a few days in L.A. to see Strato.

It was a fantastic show. Burning, sorry about the aggravation that your picking me up caused. But it was very cool hanging out with you and your friend, good times indeed. I have a picture that I took with you and Strato; you must PM me sometime so I can get an e-mail address to send this to. Btw, did you get the videos I sent you of Lauri's solo? (And anyone else reading this, they did not come out terribly good, so I would not suggest asking for them!)

I have pictures, I'll be putting them up in the next few days.

Strato, thanks once again for what has become for me a birthday tradition, it was the best gift of all and I can't wait to do this again next year (or whatever year you guys will be back!). I would have bought you a drink before the show, but after what you guys were getting already, I wanted to know that you would be able to walk onto the stage!

Thanks Jens and Timo, for remembering me and your kindness. Thanks to the rest of the guys too for being very cool and taking pictures.

Please tell me those noises at the beginning were not an imitation of the "Destiny" intro, I have an extremely low voice and no sense of pitch and even I can make an almost respectable imitation of that intro.
