I got my High Time coming in.
The price was a bit high (19,95€) But for a record this great it ain't that bad.

The best thing about this is that I will get it at best almost a week before the Finnish release date!

High Time is now officially released go get yours.

They have released a High Time promo video in their blog (accesible from the main page of their site) along with the new layout (which is fantastic)

There are some samples to be heard in the video so check it out.

Opinnions on the new song?
I personally just love the song a lot.
The vocals on the verse are great and both intro and outro are superb. They are interesting and fun at the same time.
The performance is just awesome.

Has anyone got the new album yet?

I haven't. It's impossible to find here, gotta order online. But I just saw that CD Universe now has it for $14.04

Release date is March 9, but what the hell, I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

They have huge review scores

8/10 and 4,5/5 for example and now:

Imperiumi (a finnish metal media place) just published their review.
Any Finnish speaking creature should go read it.

It says that This might be THE best record of 2010 and that there are just a few records as good as this made in the last 10 years!
The only thing he said he could complain even a bit was the c- part of the ballad "a Walk on a Broken Road" which he thought could have been better.

Sounds quite amazing.
I might be getting mine anyday by now.

Got a chance to listen, liked 2 songs, really nothing that really stood out as an unconventional or catchy elements vs what other bands are doing. Can think of lots of other albums where I prefer the orchestra and keyboard and guitar usages. Lots of solos without a great deal of speed or melody for my taste. They did throw in some eastern music for one song but they don't really do it to my melodic taste. For singles of the album id put enter a life and quicksilver. Instrumentation is not any better played or more creative than numerous bands. Lots of rock orientation to the album. Singer’s voice is doing the most for me out of anything in the album. They wrote vocal lines that don't show his singing abilities as well as the last album likely to try and go for fan sing-along and they also dropped lots of the backing harmonies. The drum sound is also cool. Hopefully this album gets them on a better label with a bigger budget next time.

yeah exactly.
But I once thought Waterlines was close to perfect. Now I understand that perfect is far beyond and HIgh Times is a few more steps towards it.

since they think of themselves more of a studio for now, i hopen that someone goes to them and gives them the oppurtunity to become the band they should be, or that they release albums quicker to give us more material.

Agreed.
I think a tour would definately do good for them if they had the chance and I am quite certain their next album will be released sooner than 2013.

This time around they had a motivation drop in the middle meaning a little break in band stuff. This time around they should be pretty charged up until the release of the next album at least.
At least I hope so.

Now they have written something new again and I am just really exited!

To our Street team page we also added a couple of posters that you can print out and spread the word with. Or just put it on your own wall if you wish. Here's the link to them: Excalion material

We have been rehearsing quite much lately and discussing our future plans. Some of you might remember that end of this year we will celebrate 10 years of Excalion. I think we can provide something cool before the end of the year so you don't have to wait that long. More about that later.

The layout for the shirts looks damn good and they will be printed soon.

Many of you are surely waiting for gigs to appear. For autumn we will try to arrange better selection of them. For now we would like to ask our friends and fans to come to Konnevesi 17.4 to jam with us in our home village.

Intro of instrumental of chorus-verse-prechorus-chorus-verse-prechorus-chorus-bridge-solo-chorus with less instruments- chorus with additional instruments and buildup- ending

There are thousands of other songs that do that too it’s a very traditional rock/metal structure.

They will send another one at no cost, but I have to wait 3 or 4 more weeks for it to arrive

I just listened to it today once again and it sure is amazing.
