When you Save as a picture to a folder, how do you copy, or get it to appear, say, in a post?


I can do desktop wallpapers, but I cannot get a pic I saved to appear. Do I rename it in the folder its in, or what?
I'd hate to save alot of pics and not be able to post them.

- Let's say that you have a lot of pictures in your "My Pictures" folder, which is usually inside of your "My Documents folder.

If you want to post a pic in a message here in the forum-

1) To upload the pic to the message that you are posting.

a) - Inside of the message that you are posting, look for the UploadPic
option, which is right below the "URL" button.

b) The "Upload Picture Dialog box" will then appear.

c) Click on the "Choose" button that is located to the right of the "Picture file:" field

d) You will then see a Windows "Open" dialog box appear

e) Click on the My Documents folder in the left toolbar of the Open Dialog box

f) Double-click on the "My Pictures" folder that is in the list of files and folders in the "My Documents" folder that you just selected.

g) Click on the picture file that you wish to post-
in this example, I used "bill-gates-mugshot.jpg"

h) Click on the "Send" button in the "Upload Picture Dialog box"

i) You will then see a "Preview" of your picture in the "Upload Picture Dialog box" - scroll down, and click on the Standardlink next to "Insert Picture"

Voila!

@miditek, I hate to be a pain in the ass, but there is no Upload Picture Option anywhere below the URL button! It just says, "Close Tags".
So what do I do now?
This is really something. The reason I got a computer to start with was because I was rather limited with what I could do on a Webtv. I saw all these people making funny pics and all being able to post them on the messageboards. Well, I found a website that can, like, write messages on pics, then you save them. Simple. Now, I cannot get the pic out of the file onto the post! LOL
Good thing I did not create a slew of them.

Well, I didn't mean to put the writing that low. I clicked to the right of the image.
My son told me to be careful of these blinkie&doll building sites because some of them were loaded with malware. He said if I made a habit of using these generators, and builders to make sure to "clean" my computer at least once a month.
So, the tech fun comes at a price! Nothing is ever completelyeasy, or totally free!
