Where does your music come from?

I think I'd done this experiment some years ago, and I believe the results were pretty much the same as now. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if this thread was a dupe...

I only listen to a couple bands regularly. So I separated them by country, and counted the number of times each country gets listed:

1) Finland (12)
2) Germany (7)
3) Brazil (5)
4) Sweden, Italy (4)
5) England (3)
6) USA, Spain (2)
7) Norway, Japan (1)

Conclusion: FInland ftw.

Metalstorm tells that of my albums:
56% are from finnish bands
14% from Swedish bands
10% from Italian bands
8% from american bands
11% from Germny, Greece and Britain

(and 75% power BTW)

Yet that was by my collection which is nowhere near complete.

I can't be bothered to count, so I'll make rough estimates.

UK: 30%
USA: 20%
Greece: 10%
Finland: 10%
Norway/Sweden: 10%
Other places: 20%

I do listen to many Finnish bands, but I like bands from other countries, too. The bands I like from USA are mainly "oldie" bands, except for Megadeth and Metallica, of course.

These numbers doesn't mean any kind of negativity. I just wrote where my favourite bands come. Epic misunderstanding...

- in front of a number usually means negativity

Maybe I will next time have to have a few more smileys (A-family style) for people to not take me too seriously.
