The name of the forum is "Stratovarius and related bands talk in English". I can't think of any band more closely tied to Stratovarius than Sonata Arctica.

On April 30th, me, my friend, and my dad are going to see these guys in Atlanta, GA. If anyone else in here is going to see them, let me know!

There is room in here to talk about anything SA related.
Stratovarius, duh.

There are other threads out there and I do not see a need for a new one in this section.

Ad bands more closely related Stratovarius: well Revolution Renaissance for example.

I made a topic for SA fans in "Other Discussions in English"
I don't really see the point for another one here :)

Or Kotipelto's Band. Even all the Jörg Michael side projects or Evergrey, in which Jani Kainulainen plays, are more related to Strato than Sonata Arctica.

Agree :). Unless some news from the former/current members of Strato came up and somebody want to let us know about them, this "Stratovarius and related bands talk in Enlgish" is only for that: Strato and realted bands

Topic mix-up :?. Wasn't this thread dedicated to Sonata Arctica? But I agree, "Gather The Faithful" was so much better :)

GTF was better than TDoG and I think Ecliptica, but except vocally, I liked the other SA albums more. But yeah, this is off topic.

I've been wondering where were you that you haven't seen this before

Back to topic, I personally liked more "Gather The Faithful" than "The Days Of Grays", but I liked more "Ecliptica". That's for sure :)
